I have had a top notch experience at East Side. Been members for almost 3 years now and have had great facilities, always clean. Equipment gets fixed pretty quickly. Never had any issues with billing like at other gyms. We have been around the block with fitness centers and this has been our favorite yet. They do TONS for families which my kids love.
I love my gym! The sauna and sun room get me in the door, the fun classes get me to stay.no wait for quality machines.Feels like a spa.

I joined Crossfit in January of 2008. Crossfit is much more than a gym with simple membership requirements. More than buff enthusiasts, the instruct…
The gym instructors here are super nice. They really study your psychic and suggest the work out you need to loose those fats.
Old and dated equipment and that's if they even had the equipment you needed.
What a great group of people. I recommend the group fitness classes for sure. Friday's Happy Hour Fitness is part of my weekly wind-down.
I was a member for a little over 3 years and watched the place go downhill, especially when the new owners took over last year. It has been really hard to watch since it was once a happy and fun place to take my kids. A few of the drawbacks are: - Employee checks often bounce and when this happens employees don't show up which means childcare is closed and classes cancelled - Unprecedented staff turnover (from my experience) - Carpet and showers falling apart at the seams - The equipment is always broken and not maintained and the place is pretty disgusting. - One Friday in September 2013 someone left a big pile of human sewage in front of the front door – if that doesn’t say something about the place I don’t know what would! - The staff that is still there are always unhappy and the general tone of the place is very depressing.- Also, you have to pay for parking, which they claim to reimburse you for (don’t believe them). I would not recommend going here under any circumstance!
la fitness on 82nd and Holgate is a rip off when I had a problem with my account and I had proof that they where wrong the manger said he was wright so I asked for the corporate office he told me they did not have one he was a jerk all they wont is your money.
Are you kidding me?! This is what we're doing for my birthday. Pole fitness... here we come. *wink*Jessica is a fabulous aesthetician. Gentle touch, easy conversation, super sweet and cute. The studio, itself, is gorgeously designed and well-kept. I cannot wait to participate in some of their classes!
Great place to work out. I recently joined based on the environment. Staff is very curtious and attentive. I'm also just getting back into working out and trying to lose weight and I did not like big gym;s where everyone is super fit. I felt a bit out of place in those places. At West Coast I feel like I can just show up and work out comfortably. In fact a trainer there was even nice enough to answer some of my questions regarding losing weight. If your looking for a nice comfortable place to get in shape this is the place.
Terrible customer service!!!~ We had a membership for a year and it was fine until we asked to cancel it. After the year was up Eastside kept billing us monthly. When we noticed this we explained to them that my wife's doctor had recommended against her using the club. We then tried to get them to allow a friend to take over her spot and Eastside said they could only add another family member. So we asked them to cancel our membership. We were billed twice more after that and when we asked them for a refund they told us we hadn't canceled and that we had to do so in writing. They were rude, condescending and arrogant. I'm sure there are clubs with better customer service out there.
this is an awesome place to play an hour of Tennis for only $10 on special or $15 at the regular price. they have tennis lessons too!
