What a cooker today was. IF it hadn't been for the wonderful ladies pumping gas at Foster & Cesar Chevez 76 I'm not sure I would have made it. I'm a 69 year old lady. And I do a lot of driving in Portland. My system was misbehaving and boy was I a mess. The lady showed me quickly to the restroom, filled my tank with gas, and then pulled out a spray bottle and sprayed me not once but twice to cool me down. It was amazing!! If this is the kind of people they are hiring and training I will make a special effort to buy gas there. I guess service is not dead for the employees of 76 gas stations.
This gas station/service center has the best customer service! I work nights and needed an oil change between shifts because I was leaving town that weekend. Joe got my oil change done the same day, and drove me home so I didn't have to wait for the bus in the cold. And my car was vacuumed, too!! Amazing service, I will definitely be coming back!
Yep, it's a gas station. Workers are friendly and gas isn't crazy expensive...and it's nice to visit a place that actually has clean bathrooms.
AVOID - Terrible serviceI purchased a tank of coolant for my car, but returned it unused/unopened the day after,as I did not need it anyways. The lazy guy there did not want to refund it. Bad customer service. Avoid this place, if you have a chance.
Excellent truck stop around the area, if you can find a parking spot...
There is no star low enough for this station , if it weren't so close to I5 I would be closed.
I pulled into the Shell Gas Station at 2800 SW Sam Jackson Park Road at about 5:10 pm yesterday, Thursday, July 31st. The attendant, a young white man about 5'6 short dark hair, talking on the phone, walked away when I pulled up. There was one other car getting gas. After a short wait, the attendant reappeared and I waived at him to let him know I needed service. Another car pulled into the station for gas. The attendant walked up my window, stood there and looked at me, said nothing to me and continuing to talk on the phone. I let him know what I needed, he took my card, continued to talk on the phone and eventually helped the other customer. I had to waive at him again to get his attention to finish my transaction and let him know that I was in a hurry. He told me "I'm sure all these 'parkers' are also in a hurry". I told him that I was sorry that I had interrupted his phone conversation and he let me know that "if you knew who I was talking to... 'gas station management' you wouldn't be concerned about his conversation". He then told the caller "Did you hear what I just told her.....?" This arrogant, disengaged and disrespectful young man will ensure that I never do business of any kind again. I'm appalled that your company (or anyone else) would employ this individual.
Great gas station. New, clean, and several pumps. However, even though there are several pumps, there can still be a rather long line. As this place usually has the cheapest gas on McLoughlin. Dont forget your Freddie's card, its at least an extra $.03 off/gallon.
Where has customer service gone. Went to the Chevron on Murray in Portland Oregon. I had three 5 gallon gas tanks to fill. I could tell the attendent didn't want to help me. I got a twenty dollar bill out to tip him for his help. When he got done he handed me my reciept and started walk away. ( I was the only customer at the pumps). When he didn't help me load them in the back of my rig. I mentioned to him "There goes your Tip".
DO NOT GO TO THIS GAS STATION!!!! A couple weeks ago I decided to get my car washed. I pulled into a Chevron with a car wash, gassed up and pulled into the car wash hallway. To my surprise just before the end of the car wash my vehicle was pulled smack into the back of another car ahead of me! After she pulled out of the way and I parked the manager, Rick Watts, doesn't coming running out of the building to make sure we were ok. He waits for us to come into the store at which point the only thing out of his mouth is "I'm not liable". It was at that point he again insulted both of us and refused to give us the gas stations insurance information. He was rude, unprofessional, belittling, and ignorant to the point that he claimed he engineered car bodies, and as an expert what DID happen to our vehicles, physically couldn't happen!?!?! To this day I am fighting them in court to get my $500 to fix my head lights, radiator, and bumper. DO NOT GO TO THIS GAS STATION!!!!
