Portland car Transport took the stress out of auto shipping! They made it very simple and easy for me, including pick up, payment and drop off! Thank you guys very much for all the help!
I did not have a good experience working here, but I will say the Operations Manager Bryan tried to make it an enjoyable workplace. I believe my counterpart (who is no longer there) was a huge part of the issue. In every workplace you'll find someone you don't like, this place happened to have several. It is a smaller company with no HR, and in this industry, people are a bit rough around the edges, but if you have thick skin and a sense of humor, it's not too bad.
Jack arrived on the second day of the 4 day window and he shipped it to my new home in Oregon on the 4th day. His service was fast and reliable.
The owner / operator is the cause of 98% of their problems, the other 2% is condoned by her. The only people who stick around in that office talk behind your back, and are gossiping, 2 faced suck ups who don't mind being mistreated, abused, assaulted or harassed (yes even sexually) on a daily basis. You will be lied to and promised things and be made to feel like you are part of the "family " BUT REMEMBER THIS IS A DYSFUNCTIONAL FAMILY -- you will regret and be embarrassed by this place. You will begin to feel crazy from al the crazies you will have to work with ( specifically the CEO !!!! , ops manager, crazy cat lady who schedules and the FTL dispatch who will sexually harass you). The drivers are mistreated as well. They are underpaid and over worked and treated poorly on daily. No respect from management. And are considered to be "a dime a dozen ". Please hear my words - there are too many opportunities for drivers at other local companies - this place will steal your time, soul and dedication. The moral and integrity of MCracken is non existent. This company is a sinking ship -- do not apply here !!
Second time I have shipped my car cross country. Good pricing, they picked up my car on the date provided, delivered within the 8-10 day window. The carrier gave me the driver’s cell phone number so getting real time updates was really easy.
My car was assigned a carrier the day after booking and delivered to its destination within three days. They provided the best customer service ever! I was shipping my beloved car (which means everything to me!), so I decided to go with an enclosed car transport option. It was TOTALLY worth it and the driver was very professional. He was courteous and respectful, driving a beautiful enclosed trailer that would make the delivery and post-delivery inspection process very quick and efficient. My baby (the car) arrived with no damages and even earlier than expected. Wow! I wish I would have found this service sooner. The only issue I had with the company was finding a place to drop the car off. It was a block away (overall, not a big deal) because the driver said the street I was parked on was too narrow to enter/make turns in. This is understandable. Apart from that, everything was perfectly handled!
What kind of crazy unsafe drivers is this company hiring? I almost just got killed by a driver driving a blue Gulick semi who decided to get into the fast lane without warning, forcing me (who was next to it) off the road and almost into the guard rail!! I noticed this driver weaving in and out of the fast lane several times before I started to pass him up, but I never thought he would decide to take the lane I was in, minding my own business and nearly killing me in the process, and who knows who else! Then when I tried to get away from him, by getting into the next lane, he started to take that lane back again, forcing me to swerve into the 3rd lane!! This driver is a serious threat to public saftey and their license should be revoked immediately!!! Info I managed to obtain: VIN HN976058 USDOT 212390 happened in Sacramento, CA on Aug 10, 2017 at approx. 3pm on highway I-5 South
Not sure if my review went through. They had my packages at their Seattle, Washington warehouse for about 3 weeks. They never said why they held onto them so long. I tried several times to get them to explain why, but they kept changing the subject. They were rude on the phone. I was nice. I didn’t start getting frustrated until I knew for sure they were lying to me. About a week later, they finally set up an appointment with me on Dec. 14, 2016, which was a Tues. They said the trucker would be there tomorrow between 1-2pm. I said okay. They called me back later and said he needed to be there between 8-9am because a snow storm was coming, which it was. I said that is fine. I asked them to please have the trucker open my front gate, which is super easy, you just lift the metal piece up. FedEx, UPS, USPS, DHL, all open it no problem. I asked that he call and knock on my door so I don’t miss him. The next day, I see a call at 9:48am. This is now Wed, Dec 15th. I call right away at 10am. They claim the truck left already. That he waited for like an hour. I said why didn’t he knock? Why did no one call? They claimed they called several times, left messages, etc. (What trucker would wait an hour? They have a schedule to keep.)Anyway, so I check my phone records and messages. Nothing. I said, “My phone only shows you called at 9:48, after the truck supposedly left. I said, why didn’t he knock on my door? Tori, a female that works there claimed that the trucker couldn’t open the gate. What? I said, it is super easy, everyone opens it no problem. She was just silent. To shorten this story, they were very rude. I had to drive there twice to get my packages. Costed me $1000 just to do that. I will never do business with them again. No one should.
The absolute worst customer service I have ever dealt with. They hung up on the phone with me twice! When I asked them where they are located the lady on the phone by didnt even know, made me think the company was a scam! Plus they open up your packages when they are not suppose to. Don't bother they are not a real company and have no clue how to run a business.
Excellent package forwarding service!
