Suprizingly fresh and delisious food. Kind service for only one server while we dined. I will stop here again.

The food is edible, but with a $10 minimum for ordering online you might want to re-think that one.
Had great reviews so we gave it a try. We love interesting neighborhood spots like this seemed to be. Relaxed atmosphere, eclectic crowd, creative food. We ordered two different burgers so we could share. Food arrived in about 15 minutes. From the first bite we could tell they had used WAY TOO MUCH SALT! The fries were salted fine but the house sauce was awful. Since that was also all over the burgers they were almost too salty to eat. After paying that much we were going to eat them. I season pretty heavy at home but these were much more than that. It overshadowed all the other great flavors. Service was average, bathroom was dirty and parking was limited. No need to go back to this one.
Our first visit we were met by a long line but didn’t have the time to wait. Came back early the next day and quickly found out why locals love this place. Food was delicious! Service was great. Within walking distance from several hotels, convention center and mods Center. Recommend highly!
Don't go solo, they don't allow you in the dining room. Said to go to bar which was packed and noisy. Should have that listed somewhere outside so I don't feel foolish. I mean really. The hostess was curt about the situation. I get it, make more dollars with a crowd, but still seems off putting. Sayler's seem to take me solo in their dining room. No more going to Clyde's, group or solo.
Good old-fashioned home cooking, comfort food. Daily specials. Delicious house-made soups and crisp salads. Homey atmosphere.
I and my son visited Cheesecake for a birthday dinner. The server, Justin, started off great, Then ended great of course, tip time! Yet, in the middle was non-existent and I had to ask for a drink refill and more bread. We both have a few favorites there and we ordered the pasta ones that we love. The little bit of sauce in the pasta was watery and my sons "crispy" chicken wasn't crispy like it's been the last 5 or 6 times we've been. Justin didn't even bring us menus for cheesecake, just asked us if we wanted any while he was walking away from the table. I ordered food to go for my daughter and asked for bread for her pasta and it was HARD AS A ROCK!!! Literally....I couldn't break it apart with my hands. It had to be sitting out for a week and a server who cared and knew something about food would have noticed how hard the bread was. That's not even the worst part. I call to talk to the manager, Christian, who's also rude. Tells me that he's sorry the bread wasn't up to snuff. WTH. He was belittling and told me that he could bring me some new bread but it's kind of late. As I was explaining the situation never once did he apologize. I've been going here for years, and the service and food just keeps going downhill....but we keep trying because sometimes we'll get lucky. We celebrate several birthdays here every year...almost a tradition. Well .... that ended today. I try to be polite to the staff and don't ask for much. Leave at least a 20% tip. It's not enough that you wait almost 2 hours to have dinner ( I have no problem waiting because I know what to expect) .... then to receive such poor treatment from the server and manager...they will not get another dime from me.
Their Kale Chop, House Salad, and Soup were extremely tasty and served in a quaint environment. The Vegan Drumsticks are definitely on the menu next go round.
My husband and I often meet our daughter at this Elmer's on Sunday afternoons. We like this restaurant because there is something for everyone on the menu. They serve breakfast, lunch and dinner. We especially LOVE their German Pancakes (they are to die for!) . The decor is a bit outdated, but we don't go there for the ambience. We go there to eat and to visit. Plenty of parking. Fair prices for good food. No complaints here.
Came in late by myself and was seated right away as they were not very busy. I flipped through the menu for awhile, picked something then set my menu down. It took about 20 minutes for a server to even talk to me, the majority of that with my menu down, ready to order. When I finally got to place my order and he asked if I'd like bread while I wait and I said yes, brown bread only please. He said he likes his the same and soon I was brought a basket of bread... With white and brown bread. I finished my incredibly tiny portion of brown bread and my water sat empty for ages without being asked if I need either refilled. I sat there watching as couples and groups seem to be getting plenty of service in a timely manor... Apparently my dinning alone with an order of a $22.5 single dish didn't warrant similar attention. It was a very unhappy experience. I went out to treat myself to something nice and instead spent the better part of my first hour there all but ignored.Added to that, my fork had old food crusted to it and my mashed potatoes had many large hard chunks of under cooked potato in them. See my photos for an example of one of the bigger chunks I pulled out of them.
