I placed an order for a Mother's Day arrangement using Teleflora and the order was directed to Luv N' Stuff. The arrangement was delivered the day before Mother's Day and it was not the same quality as the one illustrated on the Teleflora website. The arrangement was returned to Luv N' Stuff and they were supposed to deliver an arrangement that was up to the standards of the illustrated arrangement. The replacement arrangement was not delivered and the weekend passed. By late Monday afternoon we had not received a delivery so I called Teleflora, cancelled the order and asked for a refund. Luv N' Stuff never contacted us after we called and told them we were unsatisfied with the arrangement and never called once to tell us what was being done about delivering another arrangement. Thanks Luv N' Stuff for ruining Mother's Day for my wife.
I was totally at the hands of Teleflora when ordering a gift. I am 2000 miles away from the recipient, who lives in Portland, and do not have the luxury of calling around to local florists to find out what they have in stock and how close they are or if they are in the delivery area of the recipient. The plant and decanter were chosen specifically based on the picture which depicted a "money tree" similar in style to a bonsai plant arranged nicely with polished stones in a flat black square planter. This style exactly matched the recipients' taste, home and decor. Unfortunately what was delivered was not even remotely close; they received a 2' tall peace lily in a white round 6" high wicker basket. I was disappointed to say the least. I had the recipient call the florist, which turned out to be Luv N Stuff, to find out why something so drastically different was sent so that I could be more pro-active in the future and understand the situation better. The customer service she received from the Luv N Stuff associate was less than friendly. At one point the associate even suggested that "it's not that hard to do research when looking for a florist." The recipient is very mild-mannered and after being treated to several more rude and condescending remarks ended the conversation. No explanation was given other than "They didn't say no substitutions when they ordered. All we were obligated to send was a plant." After a few hours the recipient, who had a queasy feeling in their stomach after this conversation, decided to call back and try to understand what she (the recipient!) could do to see if the proper plant could be obtained. She was greeted by a friendlier, younger associate who, unfortunately, transferred her over to the original person who was defensive from the get-go. When the recipient asked why she (the associate) made the comment about it not being that hard to do research the associate back pedaled and said that she did not mean the recipient she meant me, the gift giver! She then added that I paid way too much and if I had called any local florist they would have given me a better deal than Teleflora! So now not only did she insult the recipient, she insulted me 2000 miles away and Teleflora! Trust me when I say Teleflora has been contacted! And we will do all we can to avoid Luv N Stuff as will the recipient and all their friends and family in the area. Too bad all it would have taken was a kind word and a reasonable explanation, which one was never given, and this review would be different.
