Where do I start?When JON came out initially, he measured our window and we were fine with the deposit (1/2 total cost) as we were guaranteed our window. Then he said he would be back out in a couple days. We waited, no show on the appointment. We called and he said that the window was on backorder. We waited longer, then called again. As we had just got threw the recent snow storms, we said that he will be out and that it was delayed due to the weather. Okay, makes sense. We waited, and he again was a no show on the appointment. We called again and this time he finally came during another appointment. We had been expecting him and when I heard doors, I waited a bit thinking he would knock if it was him (we live in a close proximitied neighborhood). We heard no knock. I had looked outside and he was there with his van and he was messing with our window. Didn't even let us know he was here. I walked out and greeted him and he let us know he was just double checking his measurements and he would let us know when he's done. I let him know that since I was watching babies, I would be right inside if he had any questions or when he was done. Next thing I know, 5 minutes later, he was gone without notice. When we called about how we still have not gotten our window after 3 months, he said that he told us he could not guarantee it. We said we don't care. We just want our window fixed. We then called again after a couple days and he started claiming that he never wanted to do it, and that he told us he would not be doing business with us. He then started saying when we were asking for his information, he would not talk to my mother who gave him the deposit check in her name, and that he would only talk to my father who he had discussed the initial business with. All three of us have now been lied to and duped and he refuses to give us our money back.

Absolutely the Worst Company to do business with, where do we start, customer service, the worst, the installers have temper tantrums and throw tools and other items and the messes inside the vehicle is unnecessary particularly when the Portland Glass Techs created it. The customer service staff is rude and when the customer calls them on it they are chastised, hum, Portland Glass staff is allowed to be rude to customers, but when the customers wont tolerate such, they get upset!
I have been a customer of Portland Glass for 14 years. A few months ago they messed up an order and made ME pay for it. Employee was too distracted goofing off to take down my order properly. The glass they gave me was useless because totally wrong measurements and they refused to refund me!! I am a small business owner and I lost money on that job. The lack of professionalism is daunting. After 14 years I am now getting my glass work done elsewhere and telling every small contractor i know to NOT shop at Portland glass less they get taken for a ride the way I did.
