The Cleaning Authority - Kalamazoo

I used the services of Cleaning Authority for 8-9 years for bi-weekly cleaning and was for the most part satisfied. However, when it came time to sell our house and move I had them do a "move-out" clean and it was an entirely different story. I returned to our empty house to check out how things were after the crew had cleaned and it was obvious that they did not do half of what they promised to do. Drawers in the kitchen had not been cleaned at all, shelves in closets were still dirty and needed wiped down and worst of all - they left the refrigerator a disaster! They apparently tried to take out the fridge drawers and shelves to clean them and couldn't figure out how to put them back in. So they just sort of shoved them in a huge mush-mash and never bothered to let me know. That night when I returned to what was supposed to be a "move-in ready" home instead I had a couple hours of work to do myself to get things fixed. When I called to complain all I got back was an apology of sorts in which the field manager said he would talk to his workers. He never asked what it would take to make things right, etc. which is what managers for most well-run companies would do. If you do decide to use Cleaning Authority for regular weekly, bi-weekly or monthly cleaning be sure to check up on them. And I would NEVER recommend using them for a "move-out" clean; it would be pretty much a total waste of your hard-earned money.
