Fantastic spa, always come here for massage and skincare. Facials are great, bioelements product line have come to love. Can be expensive for certain products, but are top quality products. Also use a laser in my facials that I have noticed much improvement with. Massages are awesome, very experienced therapists. Nice interior and professional staff.

I decided to go to Extravagance after doing some searching online for a high end and professional spa. I get facials with Kathleen every two weeks, and get the charcoal glycolic facial. I've seen notable improvements in my skin while only being half way into the series. The heated bed is wonderful, as well as heated towels and a facial products line that has also improved my skin notably. The salon/spa itself is very tasteful, and has a rustic industrial feel with very warm and welcoming reception staff, professional salon/spa staff, and reasonable prices. I've had my hair done here a few times, and they also are very experienced with that. A very well rounded salon + spa that will continue to bring me back as a new client.

I would definitely recommend Extravagance Salon and Spa to anyone! I always have a great experience when I come in. The receptionist is very friendly, and she'll always offer me something to drink while I wait. The girl who does my pedicures is very sweet, and I feel like she really goes out of her way to make me feel pampered. The last time I was in I was having a very stressful week, so it was really nice to be able to come in and just relax.

I have been a regular customer for the last year or so, and I wanted to comment on the post below. The girl does leave the room during the pedicure to grab hot towels (which feel amazing) but she's only gone for a second. Its really not that big of a deal. Also, this place doesn't claim to be your honeymoon tropical resort type spa. Infact, I have been to spas while on vacation, and I actually like ESS more! My massages here are much better! In my opinion, I feel like its so much more laid back, and its not so uptight like some of the other big name places. I like the fact that the girls here take the time to get to know you, and they remember you when you come back. I really feel like I get personalized service every time I come in.

5 stars all the way!

I would not waste the time or ...

I would not waste the time or money. This "spa" wants to try and compete with real spas in the area but definitely falls short. The hours here said they were open from 9a-8:30p yet I was told repeatedly that no one was in until 11am. Also I called at 6pm and no one answered and stopped by in the middle of the afternoon (on a Wed) and no one there. The staff seemed professional when I finally did get an appt and arrived, but it was quickly very evident that it was a facade. I was left in the room three different times for anywhere from 3 or 4 minutes (for her to "go get a towel" two different times-seriously the place is NOT that big) to nearly 15 (for a 60 min appt!), Ridiculous! I will never go back and would not recommend them. I have had plenty of spa treatments, facials, etc. at professional places and this does not even rank as one.

Extravagance Salon and Spa, al...

This place is amazing. This atmosphere it great, the quality of services is the best in the business, and everyone is comforting and professional. All that with a price that is every bit as reasonable! I get haircuts every two weeks now, and have a harder men's cut than the average clipper cut, Kathleen is fantastic. Big city style in Kalamazoo.
