I was in the area to get lunch and stopped by to see if they had an opening. Miakko did a poor job cutting my hair as it was too thin on one side and uneven on the top. I also felt awkward during my visit because she seemed overly flirty. The location was convenient for me to stop in and parking was easy but I do feel the workers are unskilled so I will not returning.

The girl who cut my son's hair, Mika or Miaco something did a horrible job. She did not give my son a nice gradual fade so it looked very choppy. It was so bad I ended up taking him to a different salon in town my sister recommended. Jude's is dated and cheap looking on the inside but their stylists are worse. Avoid Mika unless you feel like wasting your money.
Judges may be a decent place to get a cheap haircut but one should keep in mind the integrity a company has to it's profession. I've gathered from my judges experiences that their employees (all women) are severely taken advantage of through unfair policies and compensation which is far lower then the industry standard. By basically taking out the "professionalism" of the company judes is able to turn huge profits on its low commission based employee compensation while inadvertently forcing their employees to sign detailed non competes making it illegal for an employee to retain their clientele. Many young girls freash out of beauty school are unaware to the world of non-competes and are too afraid to ask for decent pay. This is what Judes and unfortunately many other alike companies thrive on. I would rather not support that. Like I said, good place for a CHEAP haircut. In many ways their like Wal-Mart, except Wal-Mart gives their employees raises.
I have been getting my hair cut at the Shaver location for years. Candy always does an excellent job. This isn't just a barber shop. They are great at current women's styles and color too. The staff is always friendly and you can't beat the price. Give them a try!
