I have had two instances with Sedona staffing in portage, and both of them were not pleasant. The first time it was to get hired into a company that referred me to them. Since Sedona had a contract with this company I had to let them suck money out of me for free for three months. They first charge you for a drug test. Which I did not find out until my first paycheck. I called and asked what that was all about and they said you get reimbursed after you work at the assignment for 30 days or something along those lines. When that time elapsed I never received compensation for the test. Secondly, when I accepted the job I asked for direct deposit into my account because driving to the facility every week to get my paycheck was not practical. I filled out my form the day after I accepted the job. It took two and a half months for it to go through. Therefore, every paycheck besides two of them I ended up driving to the facility in portage. Upon my attempts to get these things corrected, I was treated like dirt. The women that work there are beyond rude, and I just kept getting the run around. Let's not forget, your taking half of my money away from me. I didn't need your help to get this job... Anyways... Three years later I attempt to find another place to work, as I browse the internet I find various factory jobs that interest me. Low and behold ... I have to go through Sedona staffing again. I schedule an interview with them and ask about the specific jobs I was interested in and they schedule me a "group working interview". Essentially we just toured the factory, and the company got to size everybody up and pick who they wanted. About 30 minuted after the interview Sedona calls and says they would like me to work for the company. I say that's great, let me tell my current employer, which was am there temp postion about what happened, and see what they say. The next day I tell my boss that I have an opportunity to work at a temp-to-hire position with better pay, and say that I have to do what is in my best interest. My boss says hold on and pushes for me to get hired and matched in rate on the spot. Much to my surprise they offer me a better rate and to hire me in full time. I call Sedona and tell them that given the outcome I cannot accept the job. I was then yelled at and told since I already accepted the job (which I didn't) and am now canceling it, I am banned from doing any assignments with Sedona. The girls name was Toni by the way , avoid her if at all possible. So here's the funny part two days later I get a call from Toni asking ever so kindly for me to come in so they can get a copy of my drivers license... I'm going to call back Monday and have some fun with this... All in all sedona staffing(at least in portage) is unprofessional and downright rude. I understand that they help people find work, but you shouldn't treat your workers like scum... Without them you're making no money... Avoid this facility if you can. But sometimes you just can't unfortunately as in my case.

they don't tell you...You have 5 to 10 min to get to theclinc for drug test
No stars for Sedona Staffing. They charge you $25.00 for your drug test, if they find you employment and take it out of your first check. They have a stack of papers for you to read and sign, while the recruiter is rushing you through it cause of other candidates waiting to be interviewed. The $25.00 charge is in small print and of course the recruiter does not tell you. I quit my job with them and they sent me a certified letter stating that I was fired, therefore my final paycheck rate of pay was will be reduced to minimum wage. The job paid $10.00/hr. I also was not given any copies of my paperwork and they also called me 2 times in one day to have me return to there office cause they forgot to have me sign W2-Form and other company papers.
