Horrible inconsiderate staff does not show up for opening. Been sitting for 30 mins in parking lot. The so called T.V.'s are from 1900s and probably put out more radiation then Hiroshima. The decor from golden girls era. Rude staff

It is almost impossible to get an answer when calling for assistance. Then if you leave a message it is doubtful that your need will be addressed. Only by multiple calls will you get attention. Every month it's a struggle just to get refills on prescriptions. I'm frustrated. God forbid if I get sick.

The customer service is horrible!! I've been going to this practice for four years. Now, my office the St. Lucie west office is great, but since they change over to HCA, this practice has gone down hill. I call to make an appointment and the customer service rep Wilma hung up on me. I call back to speak with her supervisor Angela and she was very condescending and rude. She started looking to see who I had insurance with, in which this had nothing to do with this situation. Let's not forget how hard it is to reach a person for a prescription refill.... I finally spoke with the administrative office Jill and Shannon and they just brush off. I'm going to start looking for a new doctor for my family.I have been going to this practice for 4 years and the customer service has just gone down....I did love the fact that they are a specialty clinic. Now, if it wasn't for my favorite 2 Doctors Hurst and Tobin, I probably would have left this year. I wouldn't recommend this practice now.
THESE WOMEN ARE AWESOME!!!!! They really helped my son and I last yr around the same time when the school had a massive breakout!!!! Highly recommended!!!!!! You won't be disappointed. Very knowledgeable and will educate your whole family on the specifics, you will leave there knowing almost as much as they do. They put you and your family at ease while treating you with respect. I walked in feeling embarrassed and walked out with the knowledge that it's not " I'm unclean or gross" , but wanting to tell others my experience so they too would not feel ashamed and disgusting. They are fun, have movies for the kids and are very caring as well as discreet even though they taught me it's nothing to be ashamed of as EVERYONE has gone through it!!! Great products as well!!!

Avoid this practice at all costs. They are understaffed, poorly trained and incompetent. I recently waited 2 hours for my yearly checkup appointment and then another 30 days to get blood test results back. I tried to contact them numerous times to find out the delay. Finally through their web portal they replied that they had the results, 26 days later, and that my cholesterol was a little,high but that I could try a low fat diet and to call back in 3 months. A "low fat diet" ? Really? That's it? I was shocked to say the least. They have a huge problem with communication and do not answer their phones and do not return phone calls. My husband had problems with his new RX from this practice and called immediately to find out what he should do. He left a message and waited for a return call that day. No one ever called him back, EVER!We will not go back.
This place is a total scam. They don't abide by their contract with you and I would not give a penny to them. They (Cleo) will tell you everything you want to hear but the appointments are nothing like she promises. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY!
Sorry to say that after 16 years with the Heart and Family Institute I am not planning on going back. Looking for new physicians as of today. The service has been the worst in 15 years. My doctors were good and I will miss them.. However, they are all leaving the institute because of poor management. The staff is unhappy, the doctors as unhappy, and the patients are unhappy with the unprogressive policy changes that are in place today. I don't know what it takes to get through to the corporation, but they will soon be losing more than patients if these standards continue.
