Our party of four was there Jan. 26, 2018. The two sirloin steaks were great and done to perfection. The sautéed white fish was excellent and very tasty. I had the boneless short ribs which were tender and very good. We all loved the bread and crispy salad. Great service. All and all we had an outstanding meal and enjoyable time.
I love the quaintness of the family style restaurant!! I always feel welcome, from the moment i walk in to the moment i leave! The food is good and the waiters are friendly and spot on with suggestions! I recently discovered that they do phone in orders so i can drive up in my pajamas and get my breakfast!! LOVE THIS PLACE! (ps don't tell my wife)
This is the best place to view Port Huron, the water, & freighters. We've visited several times and found the servers to be very gracious & welcoming. However, the food could be much better. When a child barely eats m & c ($11) and her brother doesn't want more than 1 spoonful, does that say that maybe gruyere isn't the choice for youngsters? The citrus champagne over 5 large scallops ($20) tasted of soy, although no soy was in the recipe and no citrus flavor was in evidence.During a previous visit the crab stuffed salmon with lobster sauce was OK but served at room temperature. Thankfully Sam obligingly had the loud music turned down. This restaurant could be a goldmine if the food were better!
Well it was our first time going bowling with our family. We were there at five to five pm. On Friday and the doors weren't even open. We called and got answering machine. It's not a good impression on me nor my family. I think they need to get it together.
The cafe is based off of Edgar Allen Poe's famous poem, "The Raven". Really cool atmosphere with bookshelves, pictures, and wood everywhere. They make amazing drinks... milkshakes, coffees, teas, smoothies, or combinations of the sorts! The food is really good too, but given that its a relaxed cafe, it can take a while if they are busy. It's kind of dimly lit, too, but that contributes to the atmosphere. Don't want to miss this spot when you are in town. Check it out.
The perfect spot for a breakfast or lunch date! They always prepare the food with attention to detail and the freshest ingredients. The menu changes often, and is always themed. Last month each sammy was named after baseball players, but this month they are named after rock artists. So fun! The atmosphere is really nice between the flowers on the table and the Chalk board menu wall. If you are looking for a good breakfast (burritos and sandwiches) or lunch (sandwiches, soups, and salads), an iced tea or flavored coffee (hot and cold brew!) this is the place to go!
Usually a good place to go..but today i took my family 14 min before closing and the waitress was rude and kept repeating over and over that we were there 10 min before closing. Sorry but if you don't want people to come in turn off the flashing open sign. Btw ill come back but i wont let that rude lady wait on me!!!!
Great food, lots of portion for a really great price. Not to mention free soup/salad AND dessert!
I'm not much for writing reviews, but these guys make amazing sliders. They've been completely packed every time I've been there but the service is still decent.
Great food it fills me up
