We called to have them fix our ice maker on aThermador Refrigerator. They claimed we needed a new circuit board. When they came to install the circuit board for the ice maker the technician shorted out the main circuit board for the fridge. The young gentleman apologized and admitted fault and said to call the office since it was after hours and talk to Heather the supervisor to get the problem fixed. She has refused to take any of our calls and the person answering the phone says she will call us back after many calls we are still waiting to get our fridge fixed with no hope in site. I would advise everyone to stay away form this company

We had a repair scheduled using Consumers Energy appliance repair service. This company, Mr. Appliance, must be one that Consumers contracts with for repairs. Anyway, we scheduled the repair for today and I took the day off of work. We were told the appointment would be between 8am - 12pm. At about 10 they called and cancelled. Told us "sorry" cant make it. We can try again tomorrow or another day. Very flippant about it. Asked for a Saturday appointment and was told that wasn't possible. Also asked for an evening appointment so I wouldn't have to take another day off from work. Was told there is nothing later than 5pm and those later ones are all booked for weeks anyway. We asked didn't you know two days ago when this appointment was made that you didn't have staff available? Why make an appointment you know you cant keep? They didnt really care and just said sorry, do you want us to come tomorrow? Told them no. When I reached out to Consumers to tell them, they already had a new appointment for tomorrow. Apparently this company said we had the wrong date.....REALLY? YOU called us to cancel not the other way around. If we had the wrong date why did you call us to cancel? From reading the reviews here it appears they cancel appointments on a regular basis. Hopefully Consumers will remove them as an approved contractor for their appliance plan service. Hope we can get another company to come out today so I don't have to waste this day I took off from work. It just bugs me how they acted like it was no big deal for me to take off of work and then just didn't care about cancelling.

We had a terrible experience with this company. The repairman left a huge scratch inside the door of our new 1300.00 dishwasher, and then we were told by Mike, the owner, "that won't hurt anything!"
It was like pulling teeth to have our phone calls returned and had to threaten to go to small claims court to get any action. Please...use a different company!

I have a Whirlpool stove. It was a manufacturing defect in that the wire harness was pinched between the top and the body. When contacting Mr. appliance of St. Clair they have a service guy come out check it out it was supposed to have the order the parts. Over 30 days went by and I called several times during that 30 days and each time they told me the parts run back order or they had not been ordered yet. After over 30 days I was tired of lighting my stove with a match. So I repaired it and called them and told them to forget about it. At one point they told me the parts are on their way and that that following Friday my stove would be fixed. Today I called them back to find out the status of the parts. Their excuse at that time was that they were unsure if whirlpool would pay for the repairs. Had they just said that in the beginning I would've gladly paid them what it would cost to fix it.

I had also a terrible expense with this company. They don't honor their appointments and don't call to say they will not be coming. They ordered the wrong part and it told them over one month to fix my 2 month old microwave. I would NOT refer them and I am also calling whirlpool to report their bad service. I should have called someone else. Terrible service!!!!!!

Terrible Service. Called and booked an appointment today. They confirmed they could come for sure ( I had several others that were 2 days+) . We having company coming and told them how important this was. I called and confirmed again at 1:00 PM today.. Just now got a call saying the couldn't come until tomorrow.

The repairman ordered the wrong part and made us wait a week to find out we need another part. Our fridge wasn't fixed after 5 weeks and $159. The owner Mike never answered our calls and refused to honor his tech's work. Beware!!
