I bought a 45 for my father for christmas. Brand new gun. My dad could not take this gun apart so he brought to back to vf for help. They could not disassemble the gun either, took 4 different guys attempts to pry it open and they agreed that the gun was defective. When the guys finally got the gun open they couldn't do it a second time, so of course we asked for a refund. Vf would only give me 275 bucks back when I paid 455. Saying it was used now. but it was never used. Its not my fault that they sold me a sub standard product! Lost $175 bucks! Horrible business skills. For a defective gun they made me pay for. HORRIBLE service. Would never buy from or recommend this company to anyone.
Recently my brother and I traveled from Traverse City to V F Sports. My brother won a pistol in a raffle and vf sports was providing it. I was very impressed on how the owner and employee's balanced the amount of people inside their store. They were busy! My brother and I worked directly with the owner, he was very polite, intelligent, and treated us like we were paying customers. We had a long drive down and back but the service was worth it, no hassles at all.
