The owner continued a personal phone call while I waited to mail a package and then got nasty when I remarked on it. Haven't been back since!! Even on good days when she would wait on me she would be sullen and unfriendly.
The new store owner and his staff were wonderful. They loaned us bins to transport our antique stemware to their store for professional packing and then shipping. Very nice and very helpful.
I needed to have pictures scanned to a jump drive for my dad's memorial program, I sent my elderly mother a my daughter to this UPS store to have it done. They scanned the pics as PDF files instead of JPEG or another picture file that can be easily edited. I called the store and they advised me their location doesn't have the ability to scan as JPEG but another location does. So we had it done at that location. I asked for a refund or store credit since the pics were scanned in a format that is not typical for pictures. The clerk contacted the owner who owns both locations and they refused to give a refund or even a store credit. As professionals of this service they should know that PDF is typically reserved for documents while a request to scan multiple pictures should be done as JPEG or other picture format. They took advantage of a young girl and an older woman just so they could make a $19 sale. They have lost a loyal customer. This owner has three stores in the Port Charlotte area and although inconvenient we will not patronize any of his locations. We will find other means to fulfill our shipping, copy, notary and fax needs.
