1290 Bay View RdPort Bolivar, TX 77650
From Business: A short ten miles as you get off of the 13-minute Bolivar Ferry ride, turn left at the Bay Vue Grocery Store and follow the road to the very end. You will notice left over damage from Hurricane Ike along the way, but Bolivar has come back better than ever. Steve's Landing was demolished by Ike in 2008 and, five years later…
2. Fish Tales
My family and I are in Galveston on vacation and decided to stop by the Pleasure Pier construction and noticed the FishTales restaurant directly across the street. We stopped in only to be told the wait would be about thirty minutes. We decided to stop by the bar at the hostess' suggestion and …
Our 2 families visited Galveston recently. Truly enjoyed the experience at Fisherman's Wharf. We called ahead to let them know a big group was coming and we were lucky to get seated right away.\r \r Sat inside (given the humidity of Galveston, not sure how anyone can sit outside!). Anyway, ri…
4. Cajun Greek
Best food on the island. The people are so friendly and the food is better than ever. My favorite is the Greek and seafood but everything is amazing here. They have been voted best in Galveston many times. Go give them a try for yourself.
6. Gumbo Diner
It’s just a little hole in the wall but we had really good meals every time we ordered no matter what we ordered. Their portions were good sizes and right for the pricing. We never ate a meal inside the restaurant we always took to go so we could take it to our hotel room and enjoy it.
Floyd's has the best crawfish and gumbo around! We've never had a bad experience with the food or waitstaff. Try the boiled crawfish with the Manuel sauce on top- it's the best thing ever!!!

I've been a fan of Frenchy's chicken for sometime now and they still have that delicious recipe flavor. Their chicken is better than other fast food chicken restaurant, yes it's pricey, but I love the taste.
This place is great. The fries are so good, top-notch dirty rice, and the creole stuffed jalapenos are one of my favorite foods ever. My wife loves the shrimp scampi but I always go for a po-boy. The spicy grilled sausage po-boy is excellent.
I've eaten at every location multiple times and always had a good experience and had leftovers to take home. Main restaurant I miss in Houston since I'm no longer there. I look forward to visiting so I can get my fix.
