Almost half of our 22 person party caught no fish at all. We mostly cruised around looking for sharks. We found a place where the red snappers were biting, so it was a frenzy for 5 minutes when the boat had caught its limit so we had to reel in and leave, and spend the 2nd half of a 10 hr. Tour trying not to find any fish, and we didn't. Not a single bite...so basically in 10 hrs. We got 5 minutes of biting. Then shut down. The capt. Even through out what they were biting(squid)and only gave us sardines because he didn't care if half the boat got the limit for the whole boat. 11 people left posses off and dissappointed

They gave my catch to someone else!! $300+ for a mediocre trip and absolutely nothing to show for it! This is the 4th or 5th time that we have used them in the last year. It just gets worse each time we go. There were 40 people on the boat. we were just getting caught on each other. If you were caught, you could try to untangle the lines yourself or wait for a deckhand to tie 5-10 new lines. Thankfully, my boyfriend caught 4 snappers while we were in that spot. So, our limit was met. Next, we targeted shark. I finally caught something! I was SO excited to catch a shark. The deckhand and I were even making jokes about it. When we get to shore, they start calling out numbers for the snapper. Next, they move on to sharks. They get to the final shark and mine is GONE. My boyfriend and two other men, a father and son that we were fishing next to us, starting asking about my shark. The deckhands get after the son because he caught two sharks. They tell him that he can only keep one and to give one to me. I said that there were TWO MEN and they each get a shark. Stop trying to give away people’s catches and find MY shark. To that, they just said “Sorry, I hate it when that s@#! Happens” and walked away!We get my boyfriend’s fish weighed. I go into the office to pay. The manager asked how our trip was. I tell him.. He apologizes and said “Well, I cannot give you a shark, but I can give you a snapper.” I told him that there were only 2 of us and we already caught 4 snapper. He tells me that is ok. I said “No, that is actually illegal.” He tells me it’s “technically” illegal. I said, “There is nothing technical about it. It is ILLEGAL to take more than 2 fish each. First you give away my catch and then you try to give me an illegal fish? So, I can get fined and potentially lose MY license if I get caught?” I walked out. This was such a terrible experience! We have lost fish to them before, but it was never a big deal. We will never use them again! Shady, SHADY, people!
Everyone had a great time and everyone caught multiple fish. I caught a king mackerel and another smaller fish and had a shark on my line to the boat before he snapped my line, not to mention multiple red snappers that were a little undersized. They even offer a filleting service when you get back for 40 cents a pound. I only took the 4hr trip and spent atleast half my time catching fish.
Had an amazing time! ♡♡♡ Dave is an awesome Captain. Hope to do it again! The weather was perfect! ☆☆☆☆☆
We went on a 5 hour trip, traveling for about 4 hours of that time. There was so little space for fishing everybody kept getting tangled on everyone else. Of the 30 people fishing only 5 fish were caught. The staff is rude the concession stand consisted of soda, water and cold hotdogs and they don't allow you to bring your own drinks or snacks. AND the bathrooms didn't work! HORRIBLE! Go anywhere else and save yourself the headache.
It was a 9 hr. trip we booked. The boat was overcrowded and our lines were getting all tangled as soon as you dropped your line into the water. We spent approx. 7 hrs riding around looking for spots to fish targeting mainly shark. Maybe a total of 2 hrs fishing if even that much. Between the group of 10 of us only 1 person caught something which was a Kingfish that weighed 5.2 lbs. We asked a deckhand how many were on the boat and he said 60 people. The website says it has a capacity of 50 people. For 1000 dollars between the 10 of us, we could have had a huge fish fry and more. Don't waste your money.
