Rocking Horse Early Learning Center

It is extremely hard to find a daycare that you can trust. I am so thankful and lucky to have found such amazing daycare. I am able to view my daughter throughout the day to ensure her safety. My daughter and I absolutely adore Rocking Horse Early Learning Center. She is always smiling and laughing when I pick her up & what mother wouldn't want to see that? When I first started looking for a center, I was looking for someone that was a mother figure and someone who could recognize the needs of my daughter. When I leave my daughter at the center, I feel like she is being left with family.

I was very apprehensive about the move from the infant room into the 1 year old room. I switched from another daycare in the area because when I voiced concerns I felt like they were met with defensiveness and condescension. When issues have arisen here, I always feel like I am treated with respect, and anything that can be done to meet my child's individual needs is done. My daughter has thrived in the 1 year old room here, and absolutely loves her teacher! I feel 100% confident leaving my daughter with Ms Ann every day!

Our journey with Rocking Horse started with a phone call to Missy, one of the directors. I had my 18 month old son in a home daycare I was growing unhappy with. She invited me over to for a tour and to answer any questions my husband or I may have had. We were thrilled to start him at a child care center knowing he would be learning from well instructed staff, top of line curriculum while utilizing iPads. My son blossomed in such a short time that when we became pregnant with our second child we knew she would attend the nursery at Rocking Horse as well.

At about 3 months I left her in the care of the nursey workers who followed my feeding instructions with no questions. Whether it was breastmilk to formula, then transitioning to baby food, they always listened to my schedule and kept my daughters daily schedule on a white board every day. Now my daughter is in the 18month class my son started in, we have had nothing but success with this daycare and would highly recommend it to other parents.

My daughter started in the Wobbler Room and with the loving care and attention, was completely tear-free by week two. Her transition to the Toddler Room was smooth and now my LO in happier than ever. She is now on a consistent sleeping schedule (even puts herself down for naps on the weekends), wears shoes happily, has a healthy appetite, and most of all, is smiling any playing when I pick her up. I love the Center's use of electronic interface to share the day's events so I know exactly what's going on at all times without calling. I receive photos of my daughter playing and smiling throughout the week. And every staff member has been more than helpful and caring about my daughter and the needs of our family. I am so grateful to have found Rocking Horse!!!
