Horrible! I went in a couple weeks ago and the people were straight up RUDE! I was in a check out lane and the cashier said, "ma'am count your items" I told her I did and that I had 13 items. The cashier then refused to service me for my "snotty attitude". So I walked out of the store with no groceries and took my business elsewhere
So I been waiting a good 30 mins at walmart, just to trade in a game... THATS ALL. Anyways there's 5 workers just sitting there talking to a group of people. So I am still sitting here looking stupid. If your in da Bluff come to walmart cause I will probably be sitting here still. My advice is just go to K mart.
I have had many less-than-par experiences with customer service and I try to shop elsewhere if I can. Unfortunately, this is the only store that's really open late in Poplar Bluff. K-mart is so much friendlier.
Here is a recount of my worst experience dealing with this Wal*Mart.
My friend is elderly and wheelchair bound. It isn't easy for to move about. So she came into Wal*Mart and when she didn't see any power-chair shopping carts (I don't know what their called) she asked an associate for assistance. They said they would help her get one. Half an hour later I showed up at the store with my mom.
First I offered to go get an associate and see if they can find a cart. I walk up to what appears to be an assistant manager chatting with two associates. I'm thinking "Great, they can help me." So I ask if one of them can help me find a power-cart.
"They're all taken. She's just gonna have to wait." And she immediately went back to chatting with her friends. Seriously!?
A few minutes later a couple comes by riding on a power chair and when we asked them if they would let her use it since she'd been waiting longer they said no, because they'd found it themselves. So I sat with my friend while my mom went off to look for one.
My mom found a cart boy who helped her find a power-cart, but by this time we'd been waiting half and hour and she'd been waiting a WHOLE hour. My friend said, "Don't worry about it. Next time I'll just go to Kroger. I should have gone there in the first place."
I sent Wal*Mart a message on their Facebook page. They told me to contact them on their site so I did. They responded that they would do something about this. They never did!
