Madison Middle School offers classes in English, language arts, mathematics, science and social studies. The school organizes several athletic activities, such as football, basketball, wrestling, volleyball, and track and field. It provides a variety of programs in band, technology instruction, and physical and health education. Madison Middle School also offers guidance counseling services. The school is a part of the Pontiac School District, which serves more than 10,000 students in grades kindergarten through grade 12. The district manages special education program and alternative and continuing education centers, as well as elementary middle and high schools. It employs a staff of over 1,000 people.
