Working for Clyde was his son Charles Spurgeon who took over the business in August of 1961. Charles then expanded Clyde's into Heavy Duty Truck repair. By the mid 70's moved to a larger location to add a complete driveshaft and parts department was then added. To create a complete repair facility. In 2008 Clyde's added a full line of open and dump trailers for commercial and recreational use.

In response to Amy W. two posts down, Amy called with a thumping issue with her U.T.V. She asked if we would work or warranty her machine even though she did not buy it from us. I told Amy to bring it down so we could get a look at it. After a tear down and inspection we found a damaged drive belt "not the fault of the machine" this is caused by driver error. Belts, tires and brakes are wearable items and NOT COVERED UNDER WARRANTY witch is stated on her contract and bill of sale of the machine. She then refused the repair we had already disassembled the machine to get to the belts area. replacement of the belt is 3hrs labor plus parts we charged Amy absolutely nothing. They seem to be understanding of the situation when picking up the machine.She then left and posted what you see. I don't know what else we could have done. Amy would not answer our calls after she posted the bad review. Sorry Amy
Without a doubt the BEST service in town! There is no place like Clyde's. They've been there for 80 years! These guys really know what they're doing. I wouldn't take my car anywhere else. If you want your vehicle serviced the right way, take it to Clyde's.
Very, very disappointed in information and services provided. Spoke with Dave 3 weeks ago in regards to a brand new machine needing a repair that was covered under warranty. During conversation he said he would have to call me back after he verified if it would be covered. He called me back 10 minutes later and said bring it here and we will get it fixed for you. So, my husband had to take a whole day off work in order to accommodate getting there on their hours opened, only to receive a call saying they would NOT cover it under warranty and now that it is apart it will cost us $410.00. We told them NOT to fix it, the machine has less than 200 miles on it and warranty should not even be questioned and then they decide in order for us to be able to pick it up we have to pay an hourly fee for them to put it back together so we can load it back on our trailer. Absolutely unacceptable! I will never refer anyone to them and will make sure this work practice is made public. Would give this ZERO stars but had to pick something to save this review. They do not deserve even one star in my opinion.
Took our dodge ram in for an alignment, the next day they called stating that it needed a few parts otherwise the alignment would just come out. When I got the truck back, it drove like new, no problems, fair pricing. Will be taking other vehicles there for work. Thank you Clydes for keeping us safe and not making us come back a second time. :)
Clyde's Frame & Wheel is the best shop around! The employees are professionals that provide great quality work. This is a shop with years of experience and a shop you can trust.
