Incompetent Employee

I have been going to Take Ten since 12/2005...and up until last year I never had a problem.

I went for my regularly scheduled oil change. I was in and out quickly and went about my day.

Less than a week car wouldn't run. I opened the hood to connect the computer interface to diagnose and lo and behold my air filter unit was not attached. They had checked the air filter but never latched the lid back on.

Through the diagnosis, my mass airflow sensor had gone out so I bought and installed the new one and suprise the car now ran.

Needless to say, I now change my own oil and recycle it at an auto parts store.

I guess the only way they could have improved my experience is to never have hired inept help in the first place.

Though I am not sure that the unlatched cover of the air filter which ties into the mass air flow sensor is the cause of the failure...I no longer trust a place where the most simple task cannot be completed by people who are supposed to be trained to do their job...more so when I repaired it myself and I am no mechanic.

I first want to apoligize that this happened. As the owner of Take Ten, I try to train my staff to address these problems as quickly and effectively as possbile to get the customer back on the road. Through our 14 years here we have grown a fantastic customer base that continues to grow. I attribute that to taking care of our customers as without you guys we don't exist. I can only hope that one day you will give us another chance, we have come to realize that when you work on as many cars as we do that unfortunatly sometimes things go wrong, but our promise is to always address them with the least headache to the customer as possible.
