        It is my pleasure to provide high quality and completely customized interpersonal cognitive behavioral therapy/Medication management to my patients.My belief is that in order to provide meaningful psychopharmacology or psychotherapy solutions for patients,an entire person must be examined and understood rather than an isolated symptom or disease.For the past thirty years that have worked with a wide range of patients from ER,Inpatient ,day hospital to outpatient therapy and medication management only.My specialties include Depression,Anxiety,OCD,Opiod addiction,Bipolar disorders as well as mood or personalty disorders. I work together with my patients to provide a clear diagnosis and then we collaborate to formulate an individualized treatment plan.I have vast experience and enjoy working with wide variety of adults regardless of their age or gender,and provide a warm safe and illuminating environment for sessions I collaborate routinely with psychologists and social workers who refer their clients to me for medication assessments .I maintain a practice size that allows personalized and individualized care .I am dedicated to my community and have served as co president of Mental health Coalition and have been president of the West Hudson Psychiatric Society

        Overall

        Dr. Ahluwalia has played a great stabilizing role in my life. I have worked with her for more than 10 years. When she accepted me as a patient I was lost and severely depressed. She helped save and get my life back on track. I would highly recommend her to anyone looking for help.

        The Best !!

        I was blessed to have Dr. Ahluwalia for the years of professional support and care. Compassionate, caring and exceptional. I wouldn't be alive if not for her. Years of therapy and she withstood and believed in me when I was at the lowest point. Encouraging and great listener. Her giving of herself is an endearing virtue. I miss her and wish more therapists are like her.
