Called Smackie's for a slab of ribs. I was told 30 minutes for pickup. I get there within 30 minutes and the place was hot and filled with smoke. The phone order taker had put down that I had ordered 30 bones of ribs. With this mistake corrected to 12 bones, I waited another 30 minutes for just a rib order. There were four customers when I walked in and they all looked upset. I think the owner showed up only to show preference*(extra ribs) to his Trojan MC friends which is what I believed really delayed my order. The cashier seemed frustrated and picked his face the whole time, and the two cooks in the back were slow and didn't seem to care about the customers' time. The one cook who handed me my order did apologize for the delay. Lastly, once I got home, the ribs were luscious and fell off the bones, but the spicy sauce left a lot to be desired. It tasted like barbeque water with red chili pepper seeds in it. UUKK!! Please get a woman cook/preparer in the kitchen

Not what I expected, nothing had a taste kind of bland staff was descent average decore, spend your money at City BBQ better food and portions.
We were seated almost immediately however the table we were seated to had the bucked of dished on a seat but it was otherwise clean. The rolls which is my favorite part were alittle too dense instead of light and fluffy. The waitress did a good job of service but my steak was closer to rare than medium rare, which I could live with, and my dad's steak was very fatty, which shaved his 11oz to a 7oz... Separately each is permissablw but it all added up to be fissapointing. However, then the chef, and two managers came out to check on the situation. Because we enjoyed our food moderatly we settled for a basket of fresh rolls that were finally cooked right and the free appetizer coupons. We won't give up on this location just yet
Gigantic food portions. Beautiful in appearance. The food is very fresh and smells great. They always deliver either early or on time. There are no sick games when it comes to the quality of their food - clean, healthy servings. The fried chicken is golden and cooked evenly and the Cole slaw is delicious. The delivery drivers are really nice and that good customer service makes their food taste even better. It's nice having a restaurant that gives nice service and meals during the various hours of the night and makes it possible for the customers to have a worry-free (no pranks) meal. You can enjoy the food. The servings are hughmungus-worth every dollar. I recommend them highly. I receive great service.
If you are familiar with Paella then this is your place to be. The Paella Valenciana is one of the best dishes in Columbus. This is a family run business, It was originally located on Sullivant Ave on the west side and moved to the north end. What used to be a 10 minute drive is now a 30 minute drive but the food here is well worth the trip. The only reason I gave 4 stars is because the "side" dishes served with the meals are alwys the same.
The staff was very nice and they did their job well. The manager even came out and went to EVERY table and asked if people were satisfied with their meals. I got the ribs with the brown sugar and they were amazing. The setup with the Tv's and audio boxes at every table was great for watching "the game"....you just get to chose exactly what that game is instead of being forced to watch one with audio.
If you like slow pit cooked BBQ and you want the best homemade sauce in town, go to OD on BBQ. They have the most savory Brisket I have ever eaten and the pulled pork is awesome! The Wild Bill Buffalo stew is fantastic and the ribs are so moist and yummy that you can't wait to dive into them. You have to see the Squad if nothing else. Stop by and you will be glad that you did!!!
Went as a family and my daughter ordered the children's chicken fingers. She loved them and the portion size was impressive. We ordered the Irish nachos they were okay. I ordered the fish tacos and my husband got the pork tacos. Both of our entrees were okay as well. We should've ordered a burger. The atmosphere and wait staff made up for the average food. I would go again.
I eat at a lot of locally owned steakhouses, which are all good, but I don't let that stop me from trying chains like Texas Roadhouse. And this place is worth it. First of all, it's cheaper and I've never had a bad steak here. I almost always order the filet, which you get (with great sides) for less than $20. You really can't beat that.
I've been to SB @ Easton a few times. Every time I go in I always sit at the bar. They have a great Happy Hour and good drink deals. This is a great place to hang with friends on a friday night. The bartenders are always so friendly.
Always great food, good prices, good service. The manager is very engaged, pleasant and always makes sure the customer is happy. Best steak I have had, even for 3 times the $.
