I have been a patient of Randy Hamm's and Idaho Prosthetics and Orthotics for over 10 years. He has always been more than willing to work with me and make changes to my prosthetic leg. He helped me achieve my goals of playing basketball and running 5K road races. I have found Randy to be knowledgeable and responsive to my needs. As an amputee himself, Randy is able to understand the needs of other amputees. I have always found his staff friendly and helpful.

I am very unhappy with this business and proprietor Randy Hamm. I went to see him at the end of 2007 in preparation for a coming vacation. I needed some easy work done, normally this work could be done in a month. Mr. Hamm could not get the fit right. We tried several options and just before I was to leave on my trip i told him that I needed four basic adjustments and I would have the best fit so far.

Mr. Hamm is an amputee. Mr. Hamm has 18 years in the business; according to what he told me.

I have been an amputee over 20 years. I was asked to sign a form saying I received my leg and that I had 90 days to come back for adjustments. When I returned, I found Mr. Hamm assigning less knowlegable people to my case and I had difficulties even getting an appointment; these prosthetic limbs you know within a short time if they will work. Mr Hamm would hide from me in the back, when I came in. not allow me an appointment, not return my calls, so I left this unfinished leg at his office and sought help elsewhere.

Several times, over week-ends and for 5 to 7 days, I could not even get an appointment and had to suffer in the meantime. This provider is busy building his business. If I am the only one with these problems, then it is a discrimination against a disabled person. I feel, that there has to be more people out there and if yours is a tough case, well there is plenty more people he would rather help. Tim Burleson
