Hawthorne Pet Den

We have taken our dogs to Hawthorne for the past two years and couldn't be more impressed by the care and genuine love demonstrated for our pups! After picking up the dogs at the end of the day, I always get a verbal report from the employees about the silly things our dogs did, activity level, whether or not they ate their food, and any other tidbits deemed necessary to relay. Nowhere else compares to the peace of mind and overall care that Hawthorne provides!

I took my dog there for about a week from the first day I was no inpressed but wanted to give it a shot. The place had a bad smell like wet dog you couldn't see where your dog was being kept or the environment when you asked them how they were they gave me a basic and generic answer before asking me for the money, and they give everyone the same answer because they don't know. Switched places and now my dog has kennel cough probably has something to do with the dirty smell. Very unhappy.

I love the kennel free day care! My dog goes there 3-4 times per week and she accepts the personnel as part of her pack. When we have seen the personnel in other venues Bri greets them very enthusiastically which makes me feel great about leaving her there. They really do love your dog like their own. When I have to leave town for several days, Bri boards there and still gets to play in a group during the whole day. When I pick her up she doesn't act any differently then when she only spends the day there. Thanks Michelle and everyone else!

Wonderful service!!! I hesitantly brought my dog here after a poor experience at another kennel in town, and LOVED it. The place smelled so clean, i couldn't believe it was a dog kennel! They're kennel-free daycare has done wonders for my dog's socialization and he comes home tired and happy every night. I never worry about my boy while i'm away while he's at the Den. I absolutely love these guys!!! HIGHLY recommend!

We took our yellow lab mix and beagle mix in for baths. They smelled great, nails were short and rounded, ears were cleaned, and teeth were cleaned. We even took home toothbrushes for each of them. The staff is great and my dogs have a great time! I'd recommend the Hawthorne Pet Den to everyone!

Let me take a few minutes to tell you about the Hawthorne Pet Den. I am a travelling construction worker, Pipefitter to be exact. I have the hardest time trying to find someone who can look after my dog while I am at work, not so with the Den. I tried every option available in Pocatello with a resounding "we are not open until 7 am". Unfortunately I start work at 7 am. After speaking with Michelle at the Den, she was willing to accomodate me by opening the door at 6:30. I can't tell you what a blessing that was to me. As a result they have changed their hours to 6:30 to 6:30. The pet den rocks. Just ask my dog!

You have got to try Hawthorne Pet Den- I needed to leave town on short notice and I took my spaniels there & They took such good care of my dogs! One dog is older and a bit slower and often doesn't want to play and the other is 1yo.and full of energy, so for play time they matched them each up with other dogs/playmates that were about the same age. The youngest dog came home happy, but very tired from all the play time. Even the old dog was a happy camper. I will take my dogs there again, and when they need groomed we will surely take them to Hawthorne Pet Den

I took my cocker spaniel in for grooming and I loved the outcome. The workers are so nice and loving to the animals. Ive been into places where if my dog jumps on them the workers get irritated and shove him down. Not hawthorne pet den. They got on my dogs level and played with him.

I was so happy with the job that I suggested them to my family and they have older dogs. When they played ball with them over the 4 days they had them they made sure they were careful them. I would suggest this place to anyone any day!
