        I've taken my cars to Dr. D's several times. What clinched it for me was the time I thought I had the problem diagnosed, but fixing it was beyond my skills. It would have been a very expensive part and a fair amount for labor. I gave the good doctor the go-ahead to order the part. He called me back a couple of hours later and told me that wasn't the problem, it was a plugged filter. The thousand-dollar job I had okayed ended up costing me less than a hundred. A car tech who is both skilled and honest is good to know.

        I have had about 5 years of experience with Doctor D's never a problem. He doesn't charge for estimates.
