I usually go to a pharmacy in my town however I decided to go to cvs near my doctors office and have my medication filled there. I went to the pharmacy and told the woman I usually use my pharmacy howveee due to convenience I came to there store. I was having a medication filled for pain which I have been on before. The pharmacist told me it was two days too soon to fill the prescription and that she won't fill it (which I found out later wasn't true by my own pharmacy who I have an amazing relationship with). I understand due to addiction pa and many states Monitor certain medications a great deal which I support. However the pharmacist made me feel disrespected and like I was doing something wrong. Bottom line she was judging my doctor and what he was prescribing me and me taking it. Little did she know I am pre spinal surgery and have been undergoing many procedures (painful procedures at that) and this female middle aged woman with horrible customer service made me feel horrible. Her co workers felt bad for me too and when they tried to help she called them over and told them to not speak to me. My doctors nurse called when I told him what was happening and she went on and on about why she wouldn't fill it. I left mortified and hurt and disrespected. I went and traveled out of my way back towards my home and my cvs and to my shock it was fine and prescription was filled. Point To all of this is I was disrespected, embarrassed and judged by a woman who is a pharmacist not a physician only to be told she was wrong and the prescription was filled literally right away with no issues. This woman a middle aged and rude treated me like a criminal and someone with a prescription drug use and had no idea what I am going through medically and little did she know that I actually am a drug and mental health counselor and she will be reported. And let's say for agrument sack that I was like many of my patients she could've done a lot of damage.
