I would love to be writing something positive about my experience but in my case I cannot. I have photos of the razor burn that someone from VIP caused on my White English Retriever. The razor burns were bad enough, but within three days they became infected and we had to take him to the vet for treatments. $250 later and our dog was on antibiotics and on the road to recovery. The cut that my boy received from VIP was also choppy and multi-leveled. On his jaw where the razor burn was the facial hair was cut to two different lengths. I guess after they saw blood they adjusted the clippers. The cut on the legs was not smooth, and the hairs on his feet were NOT finished or neatly trimmed. All in all it was like someone new had finished his trim, or someone was in a hurry and overbooked to many appointments that day and had to hurry through the appointments that were booked. I went back after the vet visit to see if VIP would pay any of my vet bill, and all I got was the runaround about how she would never release any dog that received any injury from her without telling us. Also, she simply did not take any responsibility for the injuries and lawyered up. We have two dogs that have gone to VIP on three or four occasions, and we never had anything bad happen like this before but for my money I won't be taking my boys back anymore and I would advise you to find someone else to clip your dogs
