All time favorite pizza! A Pleasanton must. The old-fashioned, cozy atmosphere adds to the experience.

We were just back after seeing the Darlingside at the Firehouse Arts Center...best service, we were really, really late and were served the best pizza, wayne'sworld and the service was fantastic. Staff treated us like welcomed family. Worth the drive from Fremont if I want a pizza.

Not like the old Days!

I grew up at this place. The pizza is still good but not like it used to be. I do still like the atmosphere.

Good with a great atmosphere!

I love this place for the atmosphere! The pizza is good but not as good as it used to be years ago. They have things other than pizza that are good also.

History: Now occupied by the Gay 90's Pizza Company, this 1864 building was one of the first commercial buildings in town. It originally housed a general store, bar and Wells Fargo stagecoach stop. The upper floor housed a brothel for many years, and some Pleasanton residents have reported seeing a full-figured ghost lady in the front second story window. Chinese laborers constructed a connection to the town's underground tunnels. Welcome: We hope you enjoy your visit here at the Gay Nineties web site.
