The worst customer service ever, we walked in and no one asked us if we needed any help or said hello , all we got was dirty looks, never ever will we shop there and we will also tell our family And friends not to shop there, we were ready to purchase a dishwasher, thanks to bad service or should I say no service we're going elsewhere
My wife and I love the team here, especially Denys who helped us through a full remodel which involved a full kitchen appliance package and a new washer/dryer. The prices here are competitive and the staff is knowledgeable. We never felt pressured or confused... and we really enjoy our appliances and recommend them to friends.

We just had our Kitchen remodeled and needed to replace our current appliances. Looked at Home Depot and the guy helping us knew nothing about appliances. Randomly stopped into Friedmans and was blown away. The store is huge, super nice and the sales guy was great. He knew everything and even recommended cheaper appliances than what we were looking at based on how often we cook. They delivered and picked up our old appliances and arranged the drop –off with my contractor, super easy. Friedmans is great , totally recommend.

I live in the city and was out on a business call in the east bay and stopped by their location to look at some options for my new kitchen. I planned on buying them somewhere else once I had an idea of what I was going to get. Well, their sales staff was so helpful and knowledgeable that I actually bought them from them and had them delivered all the way into the city. GREAT people
Today I took my elderly mom to purchase a new oven. We visited a couple of appliance stores and one suggested that we check out Friedman's. It was kind of the salesman to suggest we check out another competing store, but he lost the sale because we found a very knowledgeable sales person at Friedmans, James Plitt, who took his time to show us several models and explained each one. He also looked into the old warranty of the product we were replacing and helped us work out the details with the warranty company, that was going to reimburse half the cost to my mother. I would recommend that if you were in the market for a new appliance, whether its an oven or stove or whatever it may be, please go and see James Plitt, he's been an employee there for 11 years (that's what he told me) and he definitely knows all of his products. I will buy my next appliance from him again!!

Purchased several appliances there while remodeling kitchen. One of the appliances did not work. While the manufacturer was willing to work with Friedmans to get me a new unit, Friedmans was not willing. Twice the manufacturer called and was told ""No"". The salesman said they would assist. However, he would not return their call. I had to have them ship it elsewhere. Shop elsewhere.

I would like to express my feelings about a recent visit to Friedman's appliance store, the sales people knew nothing about the ranges or appliances they were selling, Mine was finally delivered, and vented so much hot air into the kitchen that I was afraid it would start a fire, the back was so hot that it would burn anyone touching it. I contacted the store they called the service department, it was 4 days before they could come out and check the range, they scheduled a time for the AM, then never showed up and said I was wrong, it was for the PM. I had to leave for an appt. so they didn't come at all. Called PGE to check the range and outlets. Used the range for the first time 2 weeks after it was delivered, I was with out a range for 3 weeks, Every time I use the oven it sets off the smoke alarm. NO Customer Service Provided by this store. I bought a range with an adjustable shelf, it was delivered with a regular shelf, and no broiler pan. The sales person didn't tell me it was an option. To date I have waited over 6 weeks and no adjustable shelf has arrived, even though the Sales Person said it would be ordered immediately and shipped to my home. This was an experience that I hope never to have again, I have more kitchen appliances to purchase but definitely won't go back there. Maybe they should spend some time and money educating their staff on follow-up and customer service instead of building a larger store.

My experience with Friedmans was geat! My salesperson was patient and extremelly helpful. They explained every step of the ordering process and my delivery was on time. The salesperson took the time to shop the products online to make sure we were getting the best deal. He showed me numerous options and helped me understand the differences between brands. They recommended a third party installer who turned out to be great. I truly fealt like I was being taken care of throughout the entire process. I would recommend Friedmans to anyone. They made my buying experience extremely enjoyable.

I went to Friedmans Appliance for the first time with friends, a married couple, who were shopping for a stove top. Since I'm remodeling my kitchen and had been searching for a dishwasher, sink, faucet, fridge and stove hood, thought I'd ... a few birds w/one stone and get appliances there. I cruised the store for the appliances (about 1/2 hour) not one person salesperson asked me if I needed help, even though many had passed me in the store. Funny, salespeople made a b-line for my friends--heard them offer others some assistance. Even when I joined my friends, and the salesperson they were working with, in the back of the store, he didn't even speak to me. Later in the car my friend told me that he noticed that the salesman who'd assisted him didn't seem to ignore. My friends are white, I'm black; can't help but wonder if that had anything to do with it

Firstly, let me say that it's poor practice ethically to post a 5 star review for a store you work at. Shame on you Marv.
We purchased a very expensive stove at Friedmans and were assured that they could install the stove with no problem. When the stove was delivered, the installation guys didn't have the right equipment to complete the job and we were forced to reschedule. After an annoying game of phone tag, we got the installation rescheduled two weeks after the date of delivery. The guys showed up again and didn't have the same parts they didn't have the *first* time, so no installation. After about a dozen calls to their store to resolve the problem, the story they now have is that they can't install the stove and don't do installations for appliances of this brand, a fact that contradicts what we were told at the time of purchase. We contacted the manufacturer and have now taken steps to have the stove installed by an outside company. I have little doubt that we'll be paying for this installation ourselves and that Friedman won't do right by us to either pay for our new installation or reimburse us what we paid them initially to install the stove.
Under no circumstances should anyone buy anything from Friedmans Appliance. They'll lie to make the sale, almost never return a call, and will not deliver what they promise. I left a number of messages with their sales manager Marv Cope, none of which received a return call. There are a number of items that are included with our stove that we still haven't received, and probably will never receive from Friedmans. Our experience with them has been a complete nightmare from the time of delivery. If you expect little things like honesty, integrity, or the bare minimum of customer support, shop elsewhere. These things don't exist at Friedmans Appliance.

This place has gone down hill. I purchased an entire kitchens worth of appliances, 20+k worth. I had nothing but problems with them. The very expensive range didn't come in as ordered and it didn't ignite. Called them immediately and over two weeks later they still can't even get me a service appt. Called to speak to a manager and he wouldn't take my call. Salesman even admitted the mgr wouldn't take the call. What kind of service is that? Where else can you spend that kind of money and not get a customer service response?
I can't recommend anyone shop there, unless they like to be treated like crud.
