AT&T is the worse service provider imaginable. The salesman came to my door swore up and down how great U-verse is and the internet is faster than comcast. Needless to say they immediately came out to install, but after two days of service the internet is half the speed of comcast and the cable boxes constantly shut off by themselves and would take anywhere from 10-15min. to restart. The installer when he came to my home started cutting all my coax cables out of my wall telling me i dont need those anymore. I was so upset that he did that. When i called at&t customer service to cancel i got passed around to seven different people and was on the phone for over two hours. apparently no one knows how to cancel service. I asked them to come and get all their equipment and replace the wires they cut out of my house. Of course they dont do that, they told me i have to take their boxes to ups and have them shipped out and for the cut out wires have comcast replace them its not at&t problem. Oh and the lady at ups store said shes getting sick and tired of all these at&t equipment almost on a daily basis because she has to package them and ship them. After all this grief i find in the mail a bill for 75.00 for three days of service. Called them and apparently whoever cancelled my account generated a cancelled number but it never actually got cancelled. i would never wish anyone the grief and headache ive gone through in the last month of dealing with AT&T u-verse "rethink possible". what a joke. "the one star rating is because you have to give something, they dont even deserve one star"
They have all the best gadgets from phones to U-Verse/Home Manager demos and everything in between. They also have the Microsoft Surface, which must be seen to be believed!
Ask for Dirk....he helped me setup my phone, DSL, U-Verse as well as purchase a new Bluetooth headset!
