I walk into Ruth's on Monday Aug 28, 2017 @ 1:05PM as a New Customer, & I say Good Morning to the lady behind the desk. To get a pleasant response was an exaggerated response. I then explain that I just moved to the area & that this is my first time coming to this store. I do not get any nice responses except...."Empty your laundry bag onto the counter". No pleasantries and welcoming to our business. She starts counting my items & I request extra heavy starch, & he monotones response was, " We Don't Do That". Nothing else. Then I start to say something & I reminded (Employee name on receipt-Brutus) that I like at least heavy starch, & get no response. I then state that I need the items by Wednesday afternoon & she robotly says "that's $1.75 more for Rush service". I explain that I see on your door Same Day Service & I realize that that is usually in by 9:00 out by 5:00 elsewhere, I think Wednesday is not out of the question. I do not question the $1.75 as I was in my Flight Uniform & on my way to The Airport. I realize that before I leave, I forgot to take 2extra shirts out of the bag and she added them to the order of 10other items I just received receipts for. A total of 12items mind you. Ticket numbers 67604 & 67603. I look at these Customer Receipts and NO WHERE does the receipt say HEAVY STARCH for my shirts, & the first ticket with 10items shows a pick up date of Sept 5 instead of what I specifically stated Wednesday August 30th & then the slip up of mine with that second ticket of 2shirts states a pick up of Aug 29 @ 4:00PM also with no specifications of Heavy Starch.YELP, FACEBOOK, GOOGLE, & BBB.COM here I post. I then call the store today 29AUG around noontime & I suspect it is the same person I dealt with yesterday so I ask who the Manager is & she states Brit & Derek so I ask to leave a message with her for the Manager she stated, to call me. She asks many questions which I do not answer & I await a return call to resolve this horrible customer service!
This is the most unprofessional place to do business with. They ruined two brand new Lilly Pulitzer tops by making them too short after I brought them in for alterations. They would not refund me the $100 for the shirts (I gave them my receipt) or refund the $30 for the alterations. Jerda, the supposed manager, would not let me speak to the owner. She was rude and unprofessional. DO NOT USE THIS PLACE FOR DRY CLEANING OR ALTERATIONS!!!
I've only been to this place a few times, but the owner seems to know all the customers in the shop when I'm inside. The service is really personal and quick. They have dry cleaned sweaters, suits, men's and women's oxford shirts and a coat for us. All well done.Would definitely recommend
I am so happy to find an affordable dry cleaner in my neighborhood! The family owned business has a super nice staff, their prices are reasonable, and the quality of the service is fabulous.They have a new regular customer!
THIS PLACE IS GREAT, SERVICE AND QUALITY IS WHAT THIS PLACE HAS TO OFFER. ALTERATIONS ARE REASONABLE, THE STAFF IS FRIENDLY. THIS PLACE IS WHAT YOU WANT FROM A DRY CLEANERS.
