WORST EXPERIENCE EVER!! Bought the groupon for FOUR of us. We are all busy lawyers, CPAs, ,and Moms! So hard to coordinate time of course. After booking this 2 months in advance, we get to the salon and EVERYTHING went wrong! one of the girls was always left sitting and waiting. Body scrubs were great and facials were okay. My sister had an allergic reaction to the facial and broke out all over her face and neck. My friend got pestered over and over and over again to get her hair washed even though she said NO! When we got our massages my masseuse didn't even massage me under the blanket! left it on and massaged over it. Not to mention she accused my sister of hitting her car door with our car door and "waking her up." HOW RUDE CAN YOU GET! We then got pressured by the owner to RUSH RUSH RUSH down to get our mani/pedis only to be split up. One girl had to get her pedicure first. In the middle of the pedicure, a "regular" came in and they made my friend get up and stand and wait for 25 minutes! My manicurist didn't give me a massage and she didn't even ask me to wash my hands in between! The pedicurists, while sweet, were a complete mess and we had paint on our actual toes, not just our nails. Not to mention during my friends pedicure the owner came up and asked the tech for a cigarette, HOW UNPROFESSIONAL. By the way, my friend's gel peeled off in 72 hours....we sent a long complaint and after two weeks of back and forth since they NEVER called back or emailed back (as I was promised the manager would) they offer us a manicure...ARE YOU KIDDING!!! DON'T GO HERE NO MATTER WHAT YOU DO!!!
I am giving 5 star as "first-class" only because personnel assigned to me was what I expected for such high spy. However, they do need to improve on customer service. When I walked in I was greeted by a very mean, cold, tall blond. That's not the way to approach new customer. For me, that was a big, NO!
I had an appointment to get a manicure and pedicure, when I check in I'm greeted with " You should've told them you wanted "shellac" when you booked your appt." In my world its called a gel manicure and I was never asked to specify what type of manicure I wanted when booking and then they made me wait 15 mins. after my set appointment. Way to greet your well paying customers. I had my nails done on a Saturday, its Tuesday and my toe nail polish is already coming off and their "shellac" is already receding. You would assume they use the best products and provide excellent service for the $75.00 you pay. I'm sadly disappointed as I have been here numerous times for services.
On June 27th I visited your facility on Broward Boulevard, plantation for the first time. I purchased a gift card for my aunt. During my Purchase I asked the front desk clerk if it is refundable if the person does not want the gift. He explained to me that it was and I can also use it for other services. I verified and he assured me that it was. the recipient of the gift does not want the gift card. I tried to return it and was told it is company policy that all gift card are non-refundable. My frustration is that on the receipt and the gift card, no where does it says so. Additionally, I was given wrong information by your employee. If I knew the gift card was not refundable I would have never purchased the package. I requested to speak to the manager at the facility and he Declined and told me I would have to email the owner. I think it very unprofessional and not customer friendly to just tell me no that the manager Jay cannot speak to me and to email to try and get the issue resolved.

I am VERY disappointed in Contour Day Spa's bait and switch tactics!!! I bought my girlfriend a Spafinder gift card for Christmas 2011. (I buy her one every Christmas!) She hasn't had a chance to use it because her schedule is so hectic. Today, she took the day off from work just to use her gift card. She has been to Contour Day Spa in Plantation several times and she has always enjoyed it. It used to be at the Hardrock in Hollywood. She liked it much better at the Hardrock, but she had no real complaints about the Plantation spa. Understand that when I bought the Spafinder gift card, I made sure that the Contour spa in Plantation was listed as a participating spa on the Spafinder website. It is still currently listed as such. But this morning, before diciding wether or not to take the day off from work, just to be 100% sure, my girlfriend called Contour Plantation and they told her that, yes, she would be able to use her Spafinder gift card. She then decided to take the day off and finally use her Christmas present! She even asked a close girlfriend to go with her to enjoy a nice, relaxing spa treatment. Her girlfriend has a very hectic schedule as well, but she took the day off from her job too. But when they got to the Contour Plantation, the receptionist told her that no, she could not use her Spafinder gift card!!! The receptionist told her that they were not participating members of the Spafinder network. Naturally, my girlfriend was EXTREMELY UPSET!!! She told them that not only is Contour Plantation listed on Spafinders website, but that she had called earlier that morning to verify before taking the day off!!! The receptionist then went on to try to sell my girlfriend and her friend various spa treatment packages, in our opinion, thinking that they would go ahead and pay for it rather than leave and waste a day off from work!!! UNBELIEVABLE!!! My girlfriend, as well as her friend, will never visit Contour Day Spa again!!! The whole point of me giving her spa treatments as a gift is to give her a STRESS FREE day!!! At this moment though, she is TOTALLY STRESSED OUT!!! Contour Day Spa does not practice good business!!! THEY ARE NOT HONEST!!! THEY LIED TO US!!! To top it off, when I called them to talk to a manager, the receptionist told me that no manager was available. I left my number and politely asked that a manager call me to discuss this. That was over two hours ago!!! Oh well, Contour Day Spa just lost a good customer!!!!!
I get monthly facials by Barbara. I absolutely love her! She knows her stuff and is very personable! I have been going to Barbara for over a year now and people are always commenting on how beautiful my skin is, how it glows and how it looks flawless. All thanks to Barbara and her magic facials :)
The service is "top-notch" and the technicians really know what they are doing when it comes to performing the services. The staff very welcoming and treats you more like family rather than just another customer. What I love most is that they always seem to be offering wonderful specials during mother's day and father's day making it really easy for me to just go in a purchase a gift card for the special.
HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE. MY FIANCE BROUGHT ME HERE FOR MY 22ND BIRTHDAY- AND MY ENGAGEMENT RING, MY NECKLACE AND MY SUNGLASSES WERE STOLEN OUT OF MY LOCKED LOCKER. THE OWNER IS NOT GOING TO REIMBURSE ME FOR ANYTHING. I had the SPA MANAGER walk me to lockers where she SAW ME PUT MY ITEMS IN AND LOCK THE LOCKER. She KEEPS THE MASTER KEY UNSUPERVISED BEHIND HER DESK!!! There are MULTIPLE instances where patrons have had their VALUABLES stolen and the OWNER HIRES crooks! Check the OFFICIAL police reports!. .Tuesday 2/19/2008: Customer had items stolen from locker Thursday 3/13/2008: Customer had watch stolen from dressing room Wednesday 6/11/2008: Customer had purse stolen from locker Monday 10/20/2008: Money was stolen from an unsupervised register Monday 12/15/2008: Employee had wallet stolen from work area 03/04/2009: Ms. Farina discovered that 3 of her Spa employees had stolen over $140,000 over the course of 7 years 04/06/2011: Employee had $402.00 stolen from purse located in the customer service office 06/08/2011: My belongings were stolen from locker BUYER BEWARE. YOU WILL HAVE YOUR VALUABLES STOLEN FROM THESE CROOKS!!!
Contour Day Spa is not responsible for clients personal belongings as it is stated in our brochures, website and all over our spa. We have VERY honest employees. Clients have lost items here before and they have been returned to them such as;cameras,clothing etc. A 25,000 diamond ring was lost by a client and returned to them. We offered this client a $280 gift card as she stated this was the amount her items were valued at. The client refused the offer. Again, we are not responsible for clients personal belongings.
