These folks have consistently gone above and beyond to help my family at every turn. The pharmacist has given us excellent guidance and helped us make smarter decisions for our health -- just an outstanding resource!
Texas Star Pharmacy offers medical supplies and compounded medications. I had to go here post surgery for some supplies that Kroger did not have. Their staff was very helpful.
Amazing pharmacy. Truly cares about her clients. She sells the high dollar medications at affordable prices. The prescription my son has was 1200 dollars for a months supply which is beyond his finances. She sells the same one for 100 a month and the doctor just a few doors down from her whom we had consulted looking for an alternative for him walked down to the pharmacy and consulted with this pharmacist on the efficacy of various alternative treatments and was advised to start my son on a product she only charged $40 a month for before using the other product if the first is not effective. The vitamins she sells are so reasonable I have been back there for friends to pick up their needs also. God bless her kindness.
Again, I don't know what that lady Sharon below is talking about; however, Cindy is a true pharmacist and has always treated me and my family with respect, efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
On August 25 my husband came in after calling to confirm that you could indeed fill my script. We were told that you could which is why we choose this pharmacy. However, when he got there he was then told you could only fill 90 of the q80 pills and he should come back for the rest. He was charged for the whole script, bottle was marked for the whole script but was only given half. When I came back for the rest I was told she didn't remember doing that. And she opened 15 minutes late. While i waited another customer said she was randonly closed two days earlier that week for no given reason. There were no notes that she had only filled half the prescription and now I do not have the medicine I need and I can only assume the pharmacist kept the pills either for herself or to sell privately. Very disappointed.
I was a patient at their original location in Dallas & followed them up here when this store opened since I do live in Farmers Branch. I like the staff there. They are knowledgeable about the supplements that I use (they even do muscle testing by Cody-the owner when she's available & they generally have my prescriptions ready in a reasonable amount of time.Keep in mind that they are a compounding pharmacy so it's not a "walk in, walk out" thing like CVS or Walmart. They make most of the medicine as it's ordered so, yeah sometimes it will take more than a day or 2.I like that the staff is always the same familiar faces & the girl who checks me out usually remembers me by sight. It makes me feel important.Only real complaint- neither location takes insurance. :-(
Parkway informed me my new healthcare was inadequate to pay for the same pain medication manufacturer I'd historically used. It agreed to continue providing the same manufacturer if I would pay an additional $15 out of pocket (total of $30). I agreed. When I returned for refills though, the pharmacy asked me to pay full price for the medication, around $100. I went to a competitor and paid $15 instead, returning when I became 'self pay' again. They 'punished' me by demanding that I phone in my order each month..or I would get a substandard manufacturer for my medication. I was a loyal customer for years and spent hundreds each month at this establishment...This is not the way to treat customers...
Customer service is great Ms. SHAY she's great person need more people like her helped me out . THANK YOU SO MUCH
Like the person below, I don't usually take my time out to write about a store, manager, situation, ect. But, I would like to thank Kevin Crawford, the general manager of the Walmart at 6001 N.Central- Plano, Tx. 75023. I had a problem with, and exchanged several words wih one of the "Manager's" there on Friday morning after Christmas. She was very hateful, had no people skills, and what I would consider an all around liability to the store. Understand, I've been shopping at this Walmart for decades. Before it was a "SUPER WALMART". I got ahold of Kevin and explained the situation to him. He took the time to go back, look at the film, and see that the event took place exactly how I explained it to him. He was genuinely concerned, and very apologetic. In lieu of giving me any kind of gift card (not what I wanted, nor deemed necessary), Kevin said he would make a donation from Walmart today to Children's Miracle Network Hospitals. At the beginning of today, I wasn't going to set one foot back in that store. After dealing with Kevin, I have every intention of going back!!! I know there are alot of rude, obnoxious, lazy, and just down right jerks at the places that we frequent. I'm here to tell you that Kevin Crawford will take care of you if the situation calls for it!! Thanks Kevin!! I sooo wish their were more like you out there!!!
Very nice location, the whole atmosphere is very friendly and professional plus the employees are quick and very polite. They also do home deliveries, so I received my medication while in the comfort of my home. From now on, I will always be using ASP.
