I had my Ram 2500 transmission replaced in a local shop for 4700.00 after 2 weeks had same problems and the shop even didn’t care about me spending that much money and was blaming it on parts
I finally got it the transmission shop in McKinney they took care of me Andrew the manager after replacing the transmission he drove it to Plano back and fort until everything was good
I really appreciate great work from both shops McKinney/Plano

I brought my car (2008 Lincoln MKX) in with a severe jerking from the transmission. I paid The Transmission Shop over 2800.00 to have it rebuilt. Worked fine for a week and the harsh shifting returned. I brought it back in and they replaced a leaky seal. Another week and again harsh shifting and I brought it in again. They worked on it again and returned it to me. I drove it for a week and my trouble lights came on. I took it to a shop who said there were transmission codes causing the check engine light. I returned it again and when I picked it up it shifted smoothly for about a week and the harsh shifting returned (although not as bad as before, it still had jerky shifting issues). I took the vehicle back in to be told it was shifting fine for them. I picked it up and had harsh shifting after two blocks. All lin all I took my vehicle to them five times. each time it was in the shop for a week. I understand they need to road test a vehicle; however two times I took it in with a full tank of fuel only to be returned empty. They warranty their work, but after five returns and not having my vehicle repaired I simply could not return to them. I had two choices. Sell the car at a loss as no one wants one with a jerking transmission or take it to another shop and pay again ti have it fixed. Unfortunately, I had to sell it and am out a lot of money.
