Overall

They are simply awful. Its very difficult to even get in touch with them on the phone. When you try to leave a voicemail, you have to listen to a very lengthy message that goes on and on forever. Dr. Mireles, it is VERY RUDE of you to force your patients to listen to such a long message when they call in! If you have that kind of time in your schedule, then it shouldn't be a problem, but I suspect most people don't have that kind of time. They don't care about the patients at all. They never looked at my daughter or spoke to her. They put up a wall and I feel the staff is lazy and its easier for them to just shove people off so they can get back to their leisure time.

This practice does not know how to manage their appointments. First, it took us 2 months to get in. Then the day of our appointment they closed their office due to bad weather and rescheduled us. Finally the day of our appointment we arrive 20 minutes early as requested and sat there for an hour watching every child be called back and completed their visit with the doctor. I went to the front desk to ask what was going on and they said that we would be next. 20 more minutes pass and I asked for my paper work back and told them we were going to leave. The nurse said I couldn't reschedule more than 3 times and I reminded her that THEY rescheduled me due to bad weather. WASTE OF TIME AND A LACK OF RESPECT FOR OTHER PEOPLES TIME!

I absolutely DO NOT recommend this practice to anyone. The office staff is absolutely terrible. I found them to be passive aggressive, unprofessional and forget about communication! We have been seeing a physician here for three years. Fortunately, we only go in one time per year which is why I have put up with this for so long. I'm so sad to say we have left the practice not because of the doctors but because of their staff. There are so many wonderful peds neurologists in the Dallas area. There is no reason to put up with unprofessional staff!

Avoid this medical practice.

We have a very sick child in our family and have seen many professionals in the Dallas area. We have been very impressed with every single one of them except this office and it's doctors.

When we arrived for our first appointment, the concern was not of our child, but how payment would be made. I have insurance, so it shouldn't have been an issue, but was a sticking point for the office manager, and no one had even said hello to my child yet. The bill.....over $300. Then after an hour of waiting in the "waiting area" and the patient room, the doctor enters and does not care to hear what we have to say about our child. The doctors demeanor is that we just need to listen, because there is no time for what we have to say, and it doesn't matter anyway.

After two weeks it was time to schedule another appointment. We have a difficult schedule and needed to call the office to get this done. When someone did FINALLY answer the phone, they sounded annoyed that we had called. We were told we should leave a message so we can be called back. Unfortunately, I am a teacher and can't "run" to the phone when someone that I am paying for service decides to get back to me.

We recieved the same attitude and treatment from the office and medical staff on our second visit and have not returned since. It was easier to go to another care provider and schedule an appointment, and we are extremely glad that we did.
