Glenda Smith Movers

Total rip-off. I was promised two men and a truck....what we all think of when were expecting movers to show up that have the ability to work with bulky and sometimes heavy furniture. What I got was a little man and a woman, that showed up with a pickup truck and trailer. Trailer was to short to handle some furniture and the movers were not physically equipped to move house furniture....almost as if it was designed to take as long as possible in order to rack up the hours. Glenda had no issues with taking my money, offered no discount. I paid the minimum to get them gone and hired real movers.

We moved literally around the corner from a 2400 sq ft, single story house to a 3000 sq ft, 2 story house. Virtually everything they were to move was in a box that had a colored label on it (to indicate which floor in the new house the box was to be taken) and the name of the room was written on this label. In the new house there was a sign indicating the floor colors and each room had a label showing the name of the room. It took this moving company 3 days to move us 2/10 of a mile and she charged us $3000! Toward the end of the 2nd day, one of the workers hurt his back so badly that he was vomiting but Glenda Smith insisted that he keep working until we intervened. I would highly suggest that no one ever use her company again.
