We had engineered hardwoods in our home and had to replace all of the flooring due to a water heater leak. Danny was helpful in helping us choose flooring and setting up the project but it was the aftermath that turned the entire experience into a complete nightmare.
When Danny came over to take measurements a couple weeks before, we had already begun moving the furniture to prep for the project. He told us not to worry about the furniture because they would take care of moving it during the installation process. This was one of the main reasons why we went with them. We were also told they would tape off the kitchen and they would cover the couch. We were also told we wouldn't have to be present during the days of tear down and installation as Danny would be checking in on the work crew throughout the day.
After the first day of tear down, I returned to our furniture covered in dust, including our couches, my grandmother's piano, our dining room table, etc. The kitchen was not taped off, the entire pantry was exposed to the construction mess, everything on the counter tops were caked in dust. I was horrified. Not to mention, the guest bathroom which we allowed the work crew to use was also trampled with floor debris as well as urine all over our floors. It was a complete lack of respect for our home and I was left in shock and tears.
When we told Danny our shock of what had happened, he said he wasn't sure why the work crew didn't tape off the kitchen and because it was a construction zone, a "little dust" was to be expected. If a flooring installation company left your home in this state, would you hire them?
I asked for compensation for the promises that were not kept and they offered me $150 and wanted me to sign a contract stating that I wouldn't write any negative reviews or hold them liable for any damages. No thanks, I'd rather prevent other people from having the same nightmare we had.

From the moment we entered the showroom to our floors being installed, the experience was nothing short of wonderful. We got more information on products that we liked in 10 mins of our time at Floor Hut, than all the time we spent at other stores put together. We got what we were looking for at a very good price. The installation was done very well, a great bunch of installers, very polite and nice. We do love our new carpet and hardwood. Thank you to all at Floor Hut.
Floor Hut did wood, carpet and tiles for our home. It was totally enjoyable. The owner Chris helped us in selecting our floors, he provided us with product and installation insight. They did have a lot of items on sale, form which we choose our floors. The installers did a great job and they were very nice to deal with. Good job guys and Thank you.
AWFUL! AWFUL! AWFUL! AWFUL! In July of the 2010 I decided to change the folders of my house, after several interviews I chose to Floor Hut of Plano, Texas, all I can say is that IT WAS a NIGHTMARE, a work that supposedly would take 3 days, to them took more than a month. They would arrive in the morning with a team of 3 or 4 people, on the following day appeared another group of totally different workers from the previous one and thus it followed during several weeks, altogether were four different equipment crews and installers. It was a tremendous disaster because each crew was trying to fix all the errors that the previous crew did the day before. Each day, more damage would be done, and less progress. It was a mess and a nightmare. In order to mention some of the errors all I can say that aside from them having burned the carpet, over stretch it several times, the unions were visible and going in different directions, and there were unions in places that there should just be one continuance block of carpet. They were too visible, they also nailed nails in the carpet so that it was not wrinkled, with a giant rusty nail in the middle of my carpet showing. The completion was a disgust. Besides marking and soiling the walls, staining the curtains and they tore a leather sofa of mine as well. I am totally dissatisfied with the attitude of the company, by its irresponsibility and its lack of attention to the client and its very poor treatment. After the supposedly "complete" job, I decided to call to an inspector to see if the carpet installation job passed inspection. The inspector listed all the incorrect and damaging installation jobs that were done, and then concluded the report by saying that the work was unacceptable and that we would have to remove the entire carpet and to begin again, and that none of the job or parts could be reused or salvaged. In order to resolve this dispute, I ended up having to retain the services of a lawyer who helped me to recover some of my damages, but not all of them. In short, NEVER, NEVER, NEVER DEAL WITH FLOOR HUT if you want a painless and good installation done. Hopefully people reading this can learn from my experience and not have to go through the 4 months disaster that I went through

I can not say enough good things about my experience with Floor Hut. Cresswell (Owner) and Guy (Sales) were absolutely the best to work with. I felt no pressure and felt like I was well informed when I left their business. In the end, I walked in thinking I could only afford laminate flooring; I walked out with hardwood floors for basically the same price I was quoted for laminate. From an installation perspective, the entire crew was professional and courteous during their entire time in my house. The crew lead, Hugo, not only did a great job with the installation, he was a pleasure to be around. I have had other contractors in my house that were not so personable and it made for a long project. Hugo and his entire crew did an outstanding job. We were so happy with the job being done, mid way through our installation we decided to add the upstairs to our plan. I would recommend Floor Hut to anyone needing flooring.

I had been shopping for hardwood floor for some time and finally found Floor Hut. Chriswell was very professional and knowledgeable in this field. He answered me all the questions and concerns about the hardwood floor and its installation. He offered me the best price for the product, and the installation was well done in two days for 1700 square feet hardwood floor.
I will absolutely recommend Floor Hut to my family and friends.

We got 4 quotes for hardwood flooring, Floor Hut was the best. Chris was the one that came to our home to give us the estimates. He showed up on time, brought lots of samples, was very nice and easy to deal with. He gave us a good discount on a product that was better than the other companies. The installers were great they did a wonderful job, they were the best bunch of guys. We are more than happy with our new floors and would recommend Floor Hut to our family and friends.
