You don't expect your furniture to literally fall apart at the seams within 3 weeks of purchase! On June 10, 2017 we purchased a living room set from Conn's in Plano TX and within hours after delivery we noticed several things not right about it. Thre weeks later on July 5th I called Conn's to report the issues with our furniture and of the defects outlined below. Their first response was to send their inspector to inspect the sofa and love seat. After a thorough inspection his report confirmed it was indeed defective, even the frame of the set was defective according to him. Within three weeks our sofa looked hideous!
Upon receiving the report, we were informed we had been approved only for store credit. So...we went back once again to shop once more for another set but after 2 hours we did not find anything we liked or that would match our furnishings. I told Dawn, the store manager at Conn's, Plano TX at this point, after spending over $2000 I didn't feel like we should not have to settle on something we didn't like just because we bought from them. She agreed and said she was putting in for a refund and I should be receiving soon. After waiting for the check I'm told I would not receive a refund only credit.
-Protruding nails in several placed (which we had to nail down shortly after receiving)
-Necessary to use pillow on a few back pieces as you can feel the bar poking in your lower back (inspector said there was not enough stuffing)
-Back cushions are crooked (frame issues)
-A hole in the cheap frame behind an armrest
-Major stitching unraveling in many places
We are a mature couple with no children at home so this is absolutely not wear and tear but extremely poor quality!

On my anniversary this year I spent almost $3600 on a Samsung top of the line washer and dryer with the bins and extended warranty. The washer was delivered with scratches and the dryer had no drying tray. I signed the delivery slip stating the problems...the delivery guy said that Conn's would call me to replace it. Now it is a month later with numerous hours on the phone and nothing has been done. The store manager said he would replace it if he could...but it would be up to the delivery manager. The delivery manager sent someone out to touch up the scratches but the repair man said he could not repair silver in color! The washer ended up having brown water in the cycles staining my clothes...the normal cycle would not spin the clothes dry. I am at my wits end...the only reason I tried Conn's was because their salesman Caleb stated that Conn's was ALL about service. DO not buy from these folks at all! I have never had worse service in my life. If things improve I will come back to this site and amend this bad rating...
