I'm so very glad that I found Pets Are Inn Plano! I hated leaving my sweet boy at the vet when I went out of town. (They take good care of him, but not the personal attention I want him to have.) I found a review on Facebook and reached out to the reviewer for their thoughts and she helped me decided to give them a try.I met with Donna and Alan and knew it was going to be great in just a few minutes. My old man, Deuce, comes to work with me everyday but is pretty chill and likes to nap most of the day. Since he is older and a lowrider, I had a few requests that I thought were important and may be a challenge to find the right host. They assured me that they could meet all of my needs. I scheduled a weekend to see how it would all work and it was amazing! They came and picked him up as scheduled and they listened to some things I was worried about and had great solutions. They even called me once they got in the van and were on the way. It was hard not going with him to the van, but they know what they are doing and I trusted them.My return was a bit of a cluster on my end as my flight was later than I originally thought. I was very lucky that they were able to adjust his drop off time so I could be there and not just one of my friends.I'd give them more stars if possible! We have another few days in December and it has definitely reduced my stress thinking about where he will go. I know he will have a great host family who will give him all the love and snuggles I would. If you are looking for something better than your kennel boarding, please try Pets Are Inn Plano! You will love them and so will your pet.

HORRIBLE PLACE!!!!!!! They kept our dog penned up most of his 10 day stay while assuring us he would be out most of the time which is why we took him there in the first place. He chewed 3 molars down to the gum line and will need x-rays and possible surgery. They have not reimbursed us for anything or offered to pay for the vet bill. He is not aggressive and we are outraged by the way he was treated. They did admit he was only out a few times. They do not have mesh on the bars in the pens and he was penned up for so long he chewed them. The vet said it would take hours and hours and hours to do this to those teeth. They are lazy and incompetent. I give it no stars, but had to give it one to post.
We used Pappy's Pet Lodge a few times for cat sitting. It's been a great experience every time. Leslie is the best cat sitter. She is very sweet and my cat absolutely loved her. Would definitely recommend this place to my family and friends.
I always have had great service and experiences here. My kitty Sammy has had extended stays here when we go out of town. The last time he loved it there so much he didn't want to go back home when we came back. The care givers there are very nice and truly love animals. They even email us and answer our questions when we are missing our little one while away. We will always use Premier Pet Paradise when we need a kitty hotel.
Very disappointed. Read lots of reviews and visited the location. Thought our Weimeraner would be well taken care of . As soon as we picked the dog up, they gave us a report card stating that our dog ate all her food, "potty" was normal, playful in the daycare, and was fabulous during her stay. The owner did say she had diarrhea that first day, but our dog is limping horribly when we picked her up. We were not notified about her limping or what occured to make her that way. We took her to the vet the next morning and she had lost 5 lbs over the 2.5 days.
I am new customer to Waggin Tails - and I have to say I really like the facility - it's huge - big and clean play areas for the dogs and private boarding suites as well. The owner is highly engaged in her business and loves each dog as her own. Really feel good about leaving my dogs here!
Not a happy customer! We have two dogs who have stayed a couple of times at Pet Paradise in Plano and they seem uncomfortable to stay when we drop them off. They love The Bark but we thought we would try out Pet Paradise because it's closer. Our dogs have not been ready when we come to pick them up and this time they were still wet from their baths that we purchased for them and they smelled so bad. The business owner could not find their leashes. We had to take different leashes until when almost home he called and said, "Come get your leashes!" They had finally found our leashes but here was NO apology. What business owner treats customers like that when it's the business' fault?!? To top everything off, one of our dogs came back very, very sick. Had no calls from PP that he was sick. I really doubt it all started when we picked him up. Looks like in addition to a high boarding charge, we now have a vet bill!!
DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME!!!!! First time we dropped off our dogs, upon picking them up, there was an employee cursing out one of the dogs she was taking care and being overly aggressive with it. So after reporting that to the manager, supposedly she was fired and were so sorry we had to see that. So we tried them again and suddenly our rate per night went up after we were promised they would honor our previous price plus the staff was EXTREMELY RUDE. When we asked about it, they said they might be able to fix it for next time. I had to talk to the regional manager who gave us credit for the some of the difference. However when we went the third time to get the dogs and our cat this time, they "forgot to apply the credit" and had we had to argue with them to get them to apply it plus suddenly the rates were different again! DO NOT GO HERE UNLESS YOU HAVE NO WHERE ELSE TO GO AND MAKE SURE YOU HAVE EXTRA MONEY TO SPARE FOR THE RATE CHANGES!!!!!
i just dropped my golden retriever off this morning. he has stayed here before and the process was very smooth. the staff was extremely helpful and always happy and optimistic. they always ask for medical records, which makes me feel better as well. last thing i want is my dog to catch something while im gone. i like being able to watch over the webcam, getting the assurance he is getting some attention and play time with other dogs. this location is my preference as it is the closest to home, but unfortunately it does not have a yard for them to go out and enjoy. i walked in again this morning to drop off, and had 3 staff members immediately greet us (mainly him) and got his tail wagging. if this round goes as smooth as the first, i will continue to bring him back.
I am very impressed with Pappy's Pet Lodge. It is very clean and they have great boarding options. It seems like all the people who work there love pets so I know they are well taken care of when I am away. susan threadgill
