I have always had great experiences here. Staff are super friendly and always helpful. Yes they are a little more pricey than what you might find online in some cases, but to have the accessibility of a big brick and mortar shop with physical inventory you can actually check out first-hand, as well as great gamer culture support and league play? Totally worth it. They will have my business for as long as they are around.
Let me start off by saying this place has a huge selection of inventory. Their selection may be unmatched by any local game and comic shop, but the customer service is horrible. I have shopped here before, but I haven't really had to deal with their employees or the owner. Until today that is. I called this morning regarding trading some magic cards for some in store merchandise and I was told it was not a problem to come in. I explained on the phone that the collection I have isn't the run of the mill selection of cards and I was told I would have to have the store owner look at them. I drove from south Arlington all the way to Plano with said cards and an employee told the owner who was currently looking over another customers trade. I was told that the owner would be with me in a few minutes to look over what I had. A few minutes turned into an hour, and I had noticed that the owner was joking around and had finished looking over the other customers cards shortly after I arrived. After the other customer left he didn't ask me if he could help me, so I has to go up to him. I opened my card box and he said he didn't have time to look at my cards. I made him aware that I was sitting there for an hour waiting, and was told that he would be blue to see me today based on my phone call and when I arrived. His response was "oh well, leave them here and I'll look at them sometime this week" and he walked away.I will not be spending any more of my money here as there are other stores that treat their customers better.
