Compared to other Chinese restaurants in the area, this is one of the better ones. The food actually has flavor rather than the no spice, tasteless junk at other places. Sauces have some body to them and not watery. The baby octopus salad is especially good as well as the jalapeño chicken and General Tso's chicken.
A lot the FRY food and MSG to hide un-fresh taste. It was so thirsty when I eat. Not to say how bad most of the food, even the ice cream is made from ice cream power. CHEAP, CHEAP stuff. The next day, my mouth and through are hurting very bad for a week.
This restaurants fried Rice sucks , I ordered the combination fried rice and when I saw it had all the meat chopped so small that it was made for a 2 year old baby . the portion was small and the meat contents was little and chopped to so small it was believe me made for a child and of course NO FLAVOR AT ALL .THIS RESTAURANT SUCKS i HAVE HAD OTHER ITEMS HERE AND ITS NOT ANY GOOD EITHER , THAT IS WHY THEIR LUNCH BUSINESS IS SLOW AND HAS GONE DOWN , MY ADVISE DONT TRY IT THIS RESTAURANT SUCKS MAJOR
Terrible food and the wine was very old ..Big mistake to go there, I will never go there again. This message as the very first time I rated a restaurant.
Great food for a great price. Tell your friends
If you have ever had good asian fusion - this is better - The tastes are incredible with the recipes that Jack Kang uses...his combination of traditional expertise with present day recipes BYOB keeps the cost way down ...great place - not fancy just wonderful people and food
Ate at the one on Parker rd. & tollway,The person running the front I give a zero for customer service. The manager i would expect better a zero as well , I ordered the special scechzuan chicken it was salty could not eat it it was so bad tried to take a couple bites with rice but did not help too salty. Told lady it was salty she said she would exchange and then asked me to pay for the exchange. I said forget it left the dish un eaten and asked for managers number. Left and called manager who answered the phone and told me he would find out wether i ate the food or not and call me back. He called me back and told me he can give me a credit for next time and started telling me about how he cant just give people refunds. At this point i told him this is simple customer service and all that needed to be done was exchange the food and he started to say over and over again how he cant do that or everyone would do it. I said thats fine i do not plan on ever returning . I would just call my cc company amex and hopefully they will retract charges cause its not about 8$ its the principle and this place has no customer appreciation nor service will not be returning and will try to let as many people as I can know so they dont have to go through the headache.
This is the best Chinese food I've ever had. We ordered the chicken lo mein and the sesame chicken, and both were delicious. It is a little more upscale than you would expect, given it's exterior and location. The food is amazing though. This is a must try!
Visiting from out of town and went to this restaurant. Overpriced and food was terrible. Some wasn't even edible. Will never go back and suggest you don't either unless you enjoy a bad stomachache.
I really wish that I could give this place ZERO stars. Very salty food - I wonder what they are trying to cover up. The $1.15 egg roll is tiny and stale. The crab rangoon was also small and stale, and was the first thing I noticed had a very salty tasty. The fried rice was just brown rice, but after it was all said and done it was the best part, other than the pre-packaged fortune cookie, which should have read “Don’t eat Lover’s Egg Roll food.”The general S. chicken was no better than something you’d buy frozen and nuke in the microwave, as long as you also plan on adding lots of salt. To top it off, I got the wrong amount of change back after I tipped the delivery person. That’s on me, but I try to give people the benefit of the doubt that they aren’t out to gip me. Don’t expect a receipt. Maybe that’s a Chinese culture thing.
