When I decided that I wanted a motorcycle, I did a lot of research and then I sat on a lot of motorcycles at a lot of dealerships. Some sales people where very pushy or had no time at all for my numerous questions, while others would just pretended that I did not exist. In then end, my final decision was between four motorcycles and one was the Suzuki V-Strom DL650A. I had previously visited Plano Kawasaki Suzuki and I liked the sales approach which was informative without being pushy or bashing competing brands. I called them to ask if they had a DL650 that I could sit on, and the answer was no, but that they where expecting one to arrive in a few weeks and then they took down my contact information and promised to give me a call. They did. I had a sit and the bike felt good, but I also went for a sit on a couple of Honda models and a Yamaha at other dealerships. About a week later I bought the Suzuki. The after sales support has also been great. I have ordered parts, and a shop manual, and such and I get a call as soon as a part comes in. I think the best part of my experience was the relaxed, no pressure and informative sales approach that I experienced as a new rider. When I took delivery on my new moto, one of the sales people, Tom, geared up and went for an hour ride with me to make sure that I was comfortable on the bike. My V-Strom was a lot bigger than the tinny motorcycles in my MSF basic rider class, but after some parking lot practice drills and the ride with Tom, I was sure I had made a good choice. For those who are just starting out, I would recommend getting some help sorting out all the issues involved in choosing a good model for a first bike from the folks at Plano Kawasaki Suzuki.
These people do NOT care about you or the safety of your family! I have lived in these apartments for 3 years and recently a giant truck has been parking directly underneath my patio making access into my home extremely easy. After voicing my concerns multiple times I finally had to go into the …
Parker chase has been blessing to our family. We come from the background where keeping child until he or she goes to kindergarten was too normal. When I wanted to leave my child around 18 months I was looking for same family environment as home. Parker chase was best fit for that and I was full…
I brought my daughter to Primrose School of Chase Oaks in December of 2006 when she was 6 weeks old. The staff welcomed both her and my husband and I with open arms and treated us like we were family. She was in the school until June of this year (2009) when we were forced to move due to my husb…
I went in Wednesday to send an int'l wire. Since Bank of Texas had just closed my branch and at least 7 more branches in my town, I had to find the closest one from the only two that were left. This location is brand new. As I walked in, it looked like the bank was closed. It was dark and one teller was running the entire bank. But, he was behind the wall and out of site helping someone else at the drive in teller. As I yelled out to see if someone was there he came from the corner, was kind and apologized. As I told him what I needed, he promptly told me he would have someone come to help me because he couldn't do wire transfers, and he went back behind the wall. After waiting more than 15 mins. and no one came from their offices, I wondered whether anyone even knew I was there. I decided it was time to try to other location, just to see if I wanted to continue banking here. As I walked out, the person that was supposed to be helping me decided to stop what he was doing on the computer and tell me he was available instead of making me wait longer. I told him I would come back when they were better able to handle my business, and I left. I ended up going to the other branch, and I'm glad I did. They handled all my needs and were friendly, helpful and AVAILABLE. I'm paying my mortgage off soon and also had the mortage dept. contact me about a new mortgage for lake property/plot. However, it still concerns me deeply that the Bank of Texas has closed 8 banks "all of the sudden" in Plano and has only 2 left. Of those 2, they are operating on skeleton crews and the service reflects this at this location!
I have a 2015 Kawasaki Ninja 650 that I wanted to add LED Lighting to and frame sliders. When I called and spoke to Bob Bishop in the parts department, he quoted me a great price...50% less than I was quoted at another dealership. I drove in, dropped her off, was told it would take a few hours and would be done in the afternoon. I came back to pick her up and everything was perfect. On top of that, I thanked them for giving me a great price and told them what I was offered at the other dealership. Bob explained that after it was all said and done, it took longer than expected and it would have cost me about the same of what I was originally quoted by the first dealer. Nonetheless, he said they would stick to their original quote and I was incredibly grateful. A business that stands by their word is a business worth going to. I highly recommend anyone to go see Bob and his crew at Plano-Kawasaki-Suzuki. They are a good group of guys!
My experience with PKS has been outstanding so far. I dropped my bike off for service on Saturday not expecting a repair quote until Middle of the week. I was notified on Monday the quote had been processed, and just needed approval to order parts and begin the work. Kevin the service writer was honest with me, told me what I would be charged for labor and parts up front and was even nice enough to look for potential discounts for me to help save money. I have been turned away by other dealerships telling me they don't work on my bike or aren't qualified to service my machine, PKS quickly told me what they could do for me, instead of what they wouldn't. I am a very loyal person and they have earned my trust, my business and my recommendation to other bike owners. Keep up the great work PKS! I know my net visit will be just as pleasant as my first!
Service after the sale.... So to follow up on my Jet-ski purchase, one of them was getting moisture in the display unit. Called AJ up and Bob, the service manager assured me they would not "fail" in the middle of the lake. Stopped by on my way to Ray Hubbard, and they got all the information and looked at it, ordered the part, then I took them back in once the part was here. Being new to Jet-skis, I asked AJ to have her guys look them over to make sure I wasn't doing anything stupid. She calls me up later that week to tell me the tires are wearing uneven and need to be "aligned". She sent the trailer out to the trailer shop, and had a new axle and 2 BRAND NEW TIRES put on!!! She even got me a spare, so I wouldn't have issues in the future. AWESOME customer service from my extended family at Plano Kawasaki Suzuki!
I want to personally thank AJ, Eric and Tom. I have wanted a 300 ninja for years and when I went to look on a busy Saturday Tom greeted me at the door and said if I needed any assistance or had any questions to let him know. I greatly appreciated that he did not at any time pressure me into anything like so many sales associates do, he just let me browse through the store and look and I appreciated that. I filled out my credit application for the bike and faxed it to AJ on a Sunday. Monday morning I received a call stating that they received it and someone would be contacting me in a few hours which they did. Tom called me and could not have been nicer and patiently answered all of my questions about the bike. The bike I wanted was built from the crate and I picked it up on Tuesday around 4:00.
I've seen a lot of bad reviews about this place but my experience was great. Bought a nice used Kawasaki Concours with no hassles or surprises. It even had a full tank of gas (wow, 7.5 gallon tank). Unfortunately, the fuel petcock started to leak shortly after leaving the store. This was not seen during the test ride (must have been the full tank of gas). Even though I had already signed all the paperwork which said I bought it "as is", the salesperson and shop owner were quick to say "bring back and we'll fix it". Which they did at no charge. I would definitely buy another motorcycle from these folks, but never assume, always ask questions. PS If you want to be treated badly, try a Harley dealer.
Service dept, If your looking for professial service for your motorcycle with years of experiance to back it up than this is the place. Bob Bishop at Plano Kawasaki suziki has been working on my vintage hondas for almost 20 years. He has rebuilt my 66 superhawk and this year he rebuilt my 76 cb750 . They are maticulous with my vintage machines as many other mechanics are lacking in this area! Dropped off a wheel and tire yesterday that has been powdercoated black. Removed old tire and installed new one without a scratch on it ! I live in uptown,so the drive across town is well worth the service. I know the job will b done right the first time .
I have a 2014 Kawasaki Concours which uses a FOB for the security system and also has an emergency FOB. I managed to lose the emergency FOB so call a few weeks ago and had them order me another one. I finally went in today to have it programmed. To make a long story short Kevin found the FOB I had lost in my pannier. The parts department could not return the FOB so I purchased it. Then the dealership management refunded my money and said they would keep it in stock. It was a very nice gesture and something the obviously didn't have to do. If you are looking for a Kawi or Suzuki visit them, you will have a good experience.
I recently bought a Boulevard S40 from these guys and my experience was great. I bought my bike from Jason and he did an awesome job, I felt really good about the whole experience and I would recommend you ask for him if your looking for excellent customer service. The guys back in the parts dept where I bought my helmets really took care of me and that includes the finance dept also. I left there feeling good about my purchases and when the time comes for my next bike this is where I will be going first. Thanks for everything and keep up the good work!
