Horrible customer service and it takes day's for them to come out and start your service. They don't return calls all around bad service .
Nice enough, our bill has constantly grown, the larger the companies have gotten. Can't figure that out; should have cheapest rates in town, if they have THAT large of buying power. Started with Main St. Propane, bought by AAA Propane, bought by Northern Propane, now Amerigas Propane. Dad worked for a competing company, that would fill their trucks at the Amerigas site, and they charged considerably cheaper rates than Amerigas, how is that? When I asked, they couldn't answer. They need to work on their prices.
Now Amerigas. Started w/Main St in 2000, then bought by AAA, then bought by Northern, now Amerigas. They've been okay. Need to start shopping prices, as tank rental has gotten high. Started w/local, wanted to keep it that way, but...alas, they've been eaten up.
Agree with Bob M. I called in winter to cancel the regular route service since we only use about 5-7% a month. They kept trying to talk me in to the route service. AFTER FINALLY CANCELLING, the driver was there 5 days later filling me at 50% at winter rates.
Beware of these guys. Say they only fill for 100gal or more and yet they always seem to fill me at 50% in winter when I know I could get it cheaper if they waited 3 months. Yes I only use about 10% per month....EVEN IN THE DEAD OF WINTER. Scammers and liars.
I am so unhappy after receiving a call today saying our budget payment plan payment has now been doubled. Are you serious? What can they be thinking. We are three people barely use 300 gallons a year. I would give them a quarter of a star but I can't.
Not happy with their service. The older woman in the shop is not helpful, very robotic and avoids honesty, a lot of lawyerly answers out of her. The truck guys are nice but boy this shop is crooked.

My statement came two days after they locked my gas off after i called them "of course" i take care of 5 children and now we wont have heat during the holidays because they hiked the bill up to a point where i have to choose food/gas or these scumbags who would not hesitate to cut you off regardless of any circumstances. Let them take their tank and shove it up where the sun doesn't shine they will pay more for the technician to come out and do it than what i owe.
