        I tend to leave businesses only 5 star reviews but I think people should be wary of this business and go anywhere else. You'll note the last positive review was 4 years ago. I would guess that's when the owner Pat Mickle last picked up his phone. I have an extreme situation where I need an electrician to come do a quick inspection (less than an hour per the electric co) because I had to shut the power off to an inherited house. My mother, father, brother, aunt and dog all died last year within a few mobths of each other and when pipes began to burst over the winter with heat on, I finally closed down everything til Spring. Well who knew an electrician has to inspect before power is restored? I called all over town and professionals responded quickly but couldn't do the day I needed to meet. Someone suggested Mickle but he's got terrible reviews on Yelp so I avoided it until finally I had to call. My distant cousin said he's actually related to me and since I no longer have ANY family left after last year's tragedy, I called.

        Then I called again. Then again, then again. No response. Not even the decency to call back, say he was booked, nothing. Not only is this terribly unprofessional, its disheartening bc he knew why I was calling. I spent 3 weekends with no power or water trying to reach MICKLE Electric. I cannot tell you how absolutely disgusted I am he has a business if this is how he treats people. I'm also sad that the very few remaining distant cousins thought he would help me in a crisis.

        If that's who you choose to spend money on for an electrician, go ahead but you should know he's a heartless human being.

        I love Mickle Electric! The've done work on my house in Pittsfield and also in Springfield — both small and large projects. Recommended them to my neighbor and she was totally satisfied as well. Reliable, efficient, honest, reasonable rates, and really nice guys.

        I had an Emergency hot water h...

        I had an Emergency hot water heater that needed replacement. Pat Mickle sent a guy over 45 minutes after my plumber left. The guy put in under an hour gave me an awesome deal and left! The work he did looks very professional. I was so impressed I called back a week later to have another installed in another building. I highly recommend these guys!!!!
