Kamin Realty showed a profound lack of professionalism. Would take several days to respond to e-mails, if they chose to respond at all. I had to make several phone calls to ever get a response from a Kamin representative who was not helpful or gracious to work with.Put a deposit down on a place, however 3 days later, due to unforeseen circumstances I had to cancel. Instead of working with me on refunding or possibly working out a re-advertising cost Kamin denied any services and left me out $700 dollars. In the end, I am glad things didn't work out since they seemed like they would be horrible landlords.
This company is by far the worst company I have ever dealt with. Cheryl at the main office is incredibly rude, difficult to work with, doesn’t respond to voicemail or email and will straight up lie to you. I have never written a review like this before and honestly I don’t like to unless it’s necessary, but people need to be warned about this company. Absolute dirtbags. Stay Away!
In Butler, PA, as a contractor, came to rent a 1 bed apartment for 785 monthly. Paid (application fee and $200 security to hold the unit) and pass all that was required. Got there to sign the lease the next day, the lady there by the name Barbara jacked up the price that I was going to pay $1300 making the total $1500. I obviously said No and asked for my money back. She said it wasn't refundable, and threatened to call the police. I was like "please call the police" cuz it looks like someone here probably thought they have some unique privileges. She acted to be on the phone for like 2 minutes then put back the phone and said "get out of my office, I' am going home" - I waited for 10minutes for the police to come but they never came. She kept raising her voice saying couple of times "I have been through a lot today". That is really not my problem, all I want is my refund.*In the document I was given, the only time my money isn't refundable is when I didn't come to pay the rest $585 by certain date - in this case 6/9/17I am sharing these with everyone to deal intelligently with this woman and the company - make sure you have everything on paper - I'm glad I did.
John is the most unprofessional rental agent we've ever dealt with: NEVER, EVER answers his phone, is slow to respond to ANY communications, and is always looking for a way to screw a tenant. Was told we could take a few extra days to clean the place, as it was going to be vacant, then reneged on his statement, and tried to charge us for an extra months' rent! Deal with these three slobs only at your peril!
No one returns calls or even answers the phone at this company. Would not go through them to buy or sell any home.
Advertises houses that are already sold and under contract. Bait and switch??
I was interested in a property. I called them at least twice and emailed at least twice - no response. If they went out of business, can someone please take down their webpage?
Not the best landlord in the world. The guy is maybe 80 years old, cranky and difficult to work with, dismissive of questions about the properties. He'll be rude to you if you give him anything resembling a hard time. Problems can take a long time to get fixed if the handymen he works with are neglectful, because he won't take the extra step and pester them and he won't hire someone else if they're not available.
Worst landlord I ever had. Building is run down, basement constantly flooding, electrical hazards in the basement. Never returns phone calls. This guy is a slumlord..BEWARE !!!..And you never get your security deposit back...he always finds some reason why/how you don't qualify for getting it back.
Bob was really nice. I felt like I was his only tenant. Very little went wrong but when it did he had it fixed. His crew was always doing landscaping and planting flowers and you know that is rare from Pittsburgh landlords.
