Ordered incorrect product several times then tried to modify it so they didn't have to get the correct product. Horrible customer service, never return calls, owner takes messages as well but never returns calls. They boast about their fantastic warranty but will never do the repairs. They do not care about their customers or the quality of their work! Avoid at all costs unless you want lots of headaches later.

TERRIBLE PLACE TO WORK! TRAINING IS POOR EVEN WHEN YOU STATE YOU NEED MORE TRAINING ON SOMETHING SPECFIC& YOU ARE THE SCAPEGOAT WHEN THINGS GO WRONG. I WAS CONSTANTLY LEFT ALONE AFTER ONLY A BREIF FEW DAYS OF TRAINING. VERY UNPROFESSIONAL.
I am a professional window sales representative. All I can say is steer clear of any business advertising super low prices. The only way these types of businesses can compete is to use cut rate labor. The owner came from Window World and copied the business model. If you want the job done right Never buy from any business operating on the cheap!
They did a great job and were very professional. They showed up on time and cleaned up the materials when finished. Our new basement windows look great and our home feels more secure.
We found Pittsburgh Glass Block at the Pittsburgh Home Show. My wife and I filled out a card on a Saturday and were promptly called back to schedule an appointment on Monday. Bruce came out to give us a quote. The price was very reasonable and we scheduled our work for the following week. The installation was quick - Tom, our installer was wonderful and it was as if he was never there (clean and quick). We were extremely pleased with Pittsburgh Glass Block all around and would certainly recommend them to family and friends.

THE WORST customer service and timeliness of any company i've ever worked with. The receptionist (Debra) is clueless and rude. The staff (Tom) never responds in less than a week and they never apologized. Actually got defensive!! Changed my install date less than 24 hours before they were supposed to come and pushed it back A MONTH! DONT DO IT
Great initial sales call and good looking windows installed. Then it went down hill... Company is unorganized and rude! Replacing one block, no one showed up! I called the following day and Debbie blamed me! It was on my calendar with a time, we obviously scheduled it. Moving forward, we just rescheduled. The installer, Tom, called 2 hours late and said, "Since you didn't answer your phone, I won't be coming out." (Notice Tom, YOU were 2 hours late calling me!) I had to call the office. Then, once Tom arrived, my experience became terrible! Tom is the absolute WORST! He kept mumbling under his breath! I asked him to buff some scratches out and he blamed me for looking too close. He then said, "I don't know if I can get them with all the dirt on these windows." I simply replied, "I didn't realize my windows were that dirty. Guess I'll clean them better next time." I then pointed out one more scratch. And this is the ultimate fail for Tom... He said, "I didn't see that one". "No worries," I responded, "I didn't notice it either. A house guest saw it". He looked at me and said, "Plant some dandelions in your front yard. Then your guest can have something else to complain about." WHAT?!?! This man should not be allowed to deal with customers. Pittsburgh Glass Block, do yourselves a favor. Take any profits you actually managed to make this year, and send every single employee to get trained on customer service. Especially Debbie and Tom. I'd rather watch Youtube and try to do the job myself then let these people back into my home.
Terrible experience with this company. I had been looking to replace 6 windows and have one window slightly widened and replaced. Steven the salesman said he would complete my estimate and get someone to give a quote on the masonry work for widening the window by the end of the week. No one ever came and I didn't hear from him. I called him the next week and he once again said someone would be there in the next few days. No one came. I called Steven back at the end of the week and he said once again someone would be there. No one showed. We went back and forth like this for a month until I called the main office and they sent someone out that day although they didn't call me back, he just showed up at my door. A few days later Steven had an estimate for me which he gave verbally to me on the phone.....not cool. Never take a verbal estimate. And on top of that he only gave me an estimate for two of the Windows. When I asked him for the estimate on the remainder of the Windows he stated he would have to come back out to the house and look at them again. It was quite clear at that point that although he had measured the other Windows he never kept the measurements for that quote. Unbelievably bad service and as a result I chose another company. Your loss windows r us and please don't use them unless you want a poor experience. There's a reason why you can't find Angie's list or home advisor reviews on them.
