They are real nice when you want to check on the foster cats that find a home even if it's over the phone.
I was checking on if a foster cat found a home, and they were kind enough to tell me over the phone.
One of the best in the area. We got a cockatiel and she is a beut.. In the the process of buying our goffin .The woman that sold us our goffin was very knowledgeable about the bird/birds. We had our cockatiel groomed there for an affordable price. They did a wonderful job
Jen and her staff are the best pet sitters in the area. No one compares to them. Professional and they care about your animals like they are your own.
Being that Petland is in a good area of town and the binder of protection they offered with the puppy we thought it would be a good option and pet store aside we did fall in love with the dog (we have always rescued -own an 11 year old greyhound currently as well). We had told the pet store that our apartment didnt really prefer dogs below 6 months (even though we had gained approval for it), and before we left with everything signed the owner came out and handed us another medical record - doctored. This struck me as very odd but I thought his best interest was for the dog finding a good home - little did i know. We brought her home and she started picking at her eyes and had a deep cough. Immediately i was concerned and had phoned Five Points Vet Clinic (who have done a brilliant job) and had her to the vet immediately the next day. She had a bad upper respiratory infection, pink eye in both eyes, worms, and after a second vet visit crystals in her urine. Set aside the steep cost we paid for the dog and the vet bills it is just so sad and in a way i was glad we were able to take her out of there. We called the store and they told us we had to call their insurance service provider... so being that I started my career as a researcher i did what i do best... so i called the breeder who told me she sold the dog for 750 . I then called the vet who apparently vaccinated and saw the dog at the store.. He saw the dog the day it arrived and that was all..nothing was given to the dog and the store is using his signature and multiple people have called his office. I also still have both health records issued by the store one with a changed birth date and added vaccinations. The insurance provider would only go through the owner (so whats the point of having insurance). Then fast forward a week, and the owner would not refund us anything because we posted a review on social media. This store, the insurance, and the vet are all in a scheme together to make money.
I wouldn't do business with them. They are uneducated and disrespectful. I'm speaking to an attorney about there misconduct.
This location had a rescue bird when my son and daughter in law first went in. They wanted to buy it for be because by beloved Cockatiel Buddy passed away and I was lost without him. They were told it was a rescue bird and they like to keep them 3 to 4 weeks to make sure they are ok before they sell them. They had him 2. The gal said they would hold him for my family. When my family went back the next week to check, the manager Steve told them they would have to keep checking because they don't hold birds. Would be ready maybe next week then the next then last Saturday it would finally be ready next week. My family went back on Saturday and inhuman Steve announced he sold it on Tuesday. I was devastated, I felt like I lost 2 birds. I even had his name picked out. A friend of mine told me when I first told her about the bird told me I would be sorry I was dealing with that store. She bought a collar for her dog and it was defective. When she took it back to have it replace he gave here a hard time. Finally told her he would give her back her money and not to return again. Is this how you want your customers treated. I sincerely hope not. I would like to hear from someone to tell me what is going to be done. This manager needs some serious training. I worked in customer service for over 30 years and in the companies I worked for if I EVER treated a customer with such disrespect I would have been on the outside looking in. Please don't let him hurt another customer. Thank you
Great help and healthy fish :) The employees were very informative on the salt water fish and great with all other info on tank set up/ nutrition for fish. Everyone had a great attitude too:)
