Would never go here again! Ordered glasses a month ago and still haven't received! Mgr says she never received my msgs though left several times. When spoken to mgr about hand delivering them to another location she never followed through. Very poor service.
Great frame selection, prices, and customer service.

Today was my second visit. The first time was 2 years ago. It was ok. I walked out paying over $600 with insurance for contacts and glasses.(6 pairs of contacts/12 weeks) At that time I lived 3 blocks away and it was convenient. Very overpriced. I called a week and a half ago to make my appointment for today even though I now live 6 minutes away in Greenfield but work in Ohio and had to take a half day to squeeze it in. I arrived 30 minutes early for my appointment at 2:45, paying the meter the whole time and knowing very well that I may not get in until my scheduled appt. At 3:15 they decided to tell me the optometrist was running behind and it would be over 30 minutes before I'd be seen, I could reschedule if needed. I will be rescheduling at wal*mart over that.
I have absolutely no complaints. Great selection of glasses and excellent customer service at a really good price. You probably wont find Ray-Bands or Oakly's here, but you'll still find the identical style your looking for for a fraction of what the other guys charge. It's my #1 recommend it to everyone I know who needs new glasses.
Would not recommend this place to anyone.. Waited for appt time 1 hr past appt.. Then asked to check on my glasses status when my husband went to pick his up.. Told me not ready. When I got home there was msg on my phone saying they were in. Worst was when I complained about dizziness when wearing them.. Told me to get used to them.. Found out the bifocal size was higher on one side than the other..don't waste time or money
The team here does a great job - we have been going for almost ten years. Great doctor - great service - great glasses. I would highly recommend to anyone who works in downtown Pittsburgh.
I truly am appalled by the manner in which the bald optician with glasses treats his patients. If you do not ask questions, you'll be fine, but he is such a narcissist that he reacts with rage if you ask a question - he thinks he is being challenged. If you ask him something, he displays some pretty far out behavior - he becomes irate, as though he is having a delusion that we are all licensed opticians such as he and no one should ever require information about their own eyes. The guy seems pretty hateful, to be honest. Really weird, bitter man who wants to be at odds towards people who inquire about their own prescription. The female receptionist who works in the front is similar - if you are obliging, do not make her think outside the box, do not make her do work outside of what she believes is in her job description, and make it a fairytale sale where she does not have to address anything other than ringing you up, she'll appear pleasant. I felt as though I was in the twilight zone - these people DO NOT WANT TO RELEASE YOUR PRESCRIPTION. If you are there for an eye exam, and browse the frames afterwards but then decide to purchase elsewhere and ask for a copy of your prescription, they will give you a hard time and try to hold onto that information like grim death. This place left such a bad taste in my mouth. The bald optician is almost paranoid the way he treats people who have a simple question - he appears suspicious of you. By the way, when I asked what something meant, he told me not to worry about it, I don't need to know; I politely said that if it has something to do with my eyes, I'd like to understand what these numbers mean, and he raised his voice at me in front of my husband. This is what I mean about the guy being a megalomaniac and feeling like he is being challenged if you don't kowtow to him. If a "professional" is willing to yell at a customer in a place of business in front of her husband, you know he clearly has no boundaries with anger. He gave me the creeps, to be honest. The whole place is weird. If you do as they say, do not express that you will purchase contacts elsewhere after having your eyes examined, they will appear normal. Look at the reviews that "rave" about how wonderful they are - so made-up and forced, and each “really happy customer” has written only one review each since the inception of their accounts years ago. Yeah, I always create an account on a review board just to rave about how overly thrilled I am that my glasses guy gave me the glasses that I paid for. I wish I could talk to that pharmacy student who posted the review below because I would tell her she was being very nice in her review - the optician was more than rude, he was capable of some disturbing behavior.
